Ok so I can't rate everything they have here but the atmosphere is traditional Indian meets American diner. The lamb curry had a good flavour to it although I found it was a bit sweater than traditional lamb curry is made. The garlic naan is a hit and I would safely say the rest of the nana breads are as good.

Was recommended this place, lesson I've learned if you never tried Indian food, know everything is not for everybody..Very odd looking food with crazy colors. One good thing it may be healthier cause they don't use salt only spices.Didnt get any points from hubby on anniversary will not try anything new like that again he looked so sad the whole time lol.. The people were very nice they did everything for us to like it,but it was nasty,I feel so sorry for themNever again for me!!

I was an Indian food scaredy-cat but I came to Masala and now I'm an addict. If you're not used to spicy foods like myself, be cautious. This is not your local crappy Chinese place! Medium will actually be spicy. I definitely teared up the first time I tried the buffet, but then I went for seconds. The waiter asked me if I was sad and needed more napkins. That got a few laughs at our table. The flavors are complex and every dish is different. I felt really defensive of this place when I read the bad reviews. I come here on pay days as a gift to myself. Great food, great family business, love it!

Lots of spices in every bite. The food was five stars but the service not so much. The menu does not have alot of pictures so be ready to google image dishes. I would recommend the buffet for lunch then dinner.

Good Indian food especially at dinner. The buffet is a small spread when compared to other restaurants in Jax but taste wise very good. The starters, curries and south Indian fare is all very yum! And the best mango lassi I've had!!

Great food. Great prices. Great people. Great size plates. Sounds like Tony the Tiger ate here. I really enjoyed their food, thank you.

My family loves Indian food. We tried this place because our regular is closed on Sunday. I was surprised with the variety in the buffet. I didn't give 5 stars because of the heat. The food is pretty spicy. I like it, but this was a bit much. The flavors were excellent, I loved the different proteins, and all my favourites were there. Great staff. I would go again. Price was around 12 bucks for the buffet.

This is our spot for whenever hubby and I crave Indian food. It's cozy and has a good selection of popular Indian dishes. My favorite is the baby corns and mango dessert. I've so been there during Valentines and it has pretty nice. It's normally $10.99 per person without drinks or tips.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Jacksonville!! I have been a customer for over 2 years now. It is much better than it's comprtitors and I say this after having tried two other places. The food is consistently tasty and the prices are very reasonable!

My friend and I visited Masala for our first time last night (Friday, May 5, 2017). The food was good, but the service was poor. It was a busy Friday night, and more than half of the tables were full, yet there were just two people that we saw working the floor. There were people cooking in the kitchen, but the service staff was an Indian man and an Indian woman who ignored us for the first 5 minutes we were there, and then the lady angrily took our order. We have no idea what we did to deserve such a poor attitude from the man and the woman, but they both continued to give us dirty looks (the "evil eye") while we were waiting on our food. We waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and when I asked a question about an ingredient in the entree, she rolled her eyes before and after answering "cinnamon," and then walking off. Neither my friend nor I left a tip, as service was poor and the dirty looks from the service staff was unacceptable. The food was good, but we are unlikely to return to Masala due to the poor service.

excellent Indian food. Good service. Pakora was wonderful. Toilets on the other hand are terrible. Avoid if you can. Also wish they had some salad as a part of their regular food. Very starchy food. I would not exactly call it as healthy.

I really enjoy this place every time I go. The flavors are unique and delicious.
Customer service is about a 4. The Naan bread was burnt this time but it's usually really very good 😋 it's really a place you can only go to every couple of months because the flavors are strong , but that's what makes it unique and delicious. I recommend doing the lunch buffet instead of dinner because you get to try a variety of dishes if it's your first time trying Indian cuisine. But at least at dinner, you can take home your left overs! 😊 i recommend trying at least once!
