This restaurant was absolutely a blast! Waiters are costumed and play pranks while you dine. It is a terrific experience for all ages. Word of advice: go for cheaper menu items and drinks. The more expensive menu items were not worth the cost, but still go and enjoy the show!

Great place to go, good dining experience. I would recommend getting one of their lesser plates cause they offer unlimited soup, salad, and really good bread. So you aren't hungry by the time your meal gets to your table. Our hostess was great, everyone was so funny.

Fun place. Definitely more family oriented with young kids. Staff dresses up as super heroes or todays latest movie theme trend. Each table is differently themed, they are not all the same.

Expensive for sure. There is a bar separate from the restaurant, and they do allow smoking in the bar, as it is stated on the door "in designated areas" for those who like to smoke.

We love this place. We always have a great time. Great in character staff. Friendly and clean. The food is good it is just a little pricey but all worth the environment and entertainment. Extremely family oriented. Kids will love it. Great strawberry daiquiris!

Expensive but a fun place for the kids. Expect to spend at least 100 here for a small family. Parking is a little crowded though there's more in the back that you can't see from the street. Bars good and staff is fun/relatable. Not overly nice, just humans. Hostesses are kind of Lloyd and rude, not much tact. Maybe a good place to go once a year to eat. If you like bars the bar is nice and worth going to more often.

Always a great time at the Magic Time Machine!! Great fun, Great food, Great entertainers! Our annual birthday dinner as chosen yearly by our kids. Tonight was our daughter's birthday and we had a blast.
Our "Belle" character was super funny and entertaining. The manager came by to check to check on us and gave us a little extra surprise. Way to go sir!!!

My daughter had a wonderful time that night and it more than made up for our last experience when our server was an absentee.

Next up, our son's birthday, when will Batman be back? Check out the food we had and the bubbly "potion" drinks were great for the kids.

Good was delicious the entertainment was awesome and it was all around good time. My girls really liked the white bunny character from Alice in wonderland he was so funny. Very family oriented. I ordered a MY strip steak (medium) and it was cooked perfectly.

First time visiting. At first I was a little overwhelmed with everything going on, but quickly adapted. We ordered the Roman Orgy. Huge platter! Fed everyone and even had a lot of food leftover. Our waiter, Jack Sparrow was hilarious! Made the evening entertaining. Will definitely return!

This was a very one of kind experience for my family and I. We had a Ace Ventura impersonator serve us and he acted as the character and everything!! At first I was a little offended, but once I noticed all employees were dressed as an actor or character from a movie and geld their part, I was amazed! They all did well as they were still respectful, the food was great. I recommend it to everyone!

The food is great. The decor is fun if a little dated. It is a bit pricey but you do get unlimited salad bar and bread. The many characters make it fun and lively experience. Overall a great place for family

My kids loved this place, had so much fun. Thank you to the staff for taking the time to take pictures with my kiddos even though you were not our server. My 6 year old LOVED iron man and was so excited to get a picture with him.

Different experience from a normal restaurant. My family and I enjoyed it very much. Plan on going again soon. The price was a little high. But not to much. I still think all and all. Its plenty worth it. It is perfect for kids or out with your friends. Its for all ages. If your looking to have some fun, and laugh. Then grab your family and go!!! Make sure you bring plenty of tip money, the servers are a hoot. Awesome service!!!! See you soon Magic Time Machine!!!!

Magic Time Machine is now our favorite place to visit in San Antonio. The food is good. The service is great. And the experience is awesome. The servers get into character (ours was Taylor Swift), and they bring excitement and pranks to the time there. We will most definitely be returning. And be sure to ask for Taylor Swift!

We had a wonderful time at this place! The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and the waiters/superhero characters who stopped by our table were all pretty funny. It's definitely a kid's place but the parents weren't excluded from the fun either. The face painting lady also did an excellent job. To top it off, the food was pretty amazing. The kids loved the fizzy drink (with dry ice underneath)! I would definitely recommend dropping by this place when you are in San Antonio.
