Met the owner when he was at the Links on River. Amazing at his job. He has kept Joseph with him and the service and food are simply the best! Everything he does, seems to surpass expectations. Worth the stop and prices are less than what you would expect for the quality of the food.
They are correct to be proud of the chicken fried oysters. Light, crunchy fried crust around slightly salty oysters on bed of garlic spinach. The Parmesan cheese crusted chicken breast was SO tender and the crust held on through the cut. Breast served on nicely seasoned orzo with small roasted veggies. Others in our party had salmon, redfish, and sandwiches and everyone said how good each was. It was a special occasion, but too pricey for lunch every day.
Delightful restaurant!
We always love their food.
I do wish they would add a few new deserts.
Give them a try, I hope you'll love them too.👍🏻👍🏻

This is our go-to spot for delicious food! They take Groupons which makes the cost a little lower. The service is always awesome and the food never disappoints. I recommend making a reservation to minimize wait times.
New menu. Excellent food. The portions are just the right size and the staff is on their toes!
We go to the Stone Oak location and decided to try this location. The waitress and staff are great like the other location. The food was also very good. Loved the oak grilled pork tenderloin. It was a nice change of pace, but love the Stone Oak location.
This review is for Nosh. It was a great spot to go try some small plates of really good food. Everything tasted very fresh and the dishes were unique. We will definitely be back enough times to try everything on the menu! Good selection of beer also.
Walked here for my first time for the happy hour as I live up the street at the 1111 austin highway apartments. Was cut off by management.
I walked into Nosh at around 2:30pm and was the only customer at the bar, drank my cocktail and left. I told the bartender I would be back for Silo's happy hour. After arriving again and heading to the back to Silo's, I was a little surprised at the happy hour prices, as the cocktails were the same price as Nosh's. Nosh has some pretty great prices for cocktails, at $5 for a ''dark and stormy'' all day, this easily rivals Silo's 4:00 happy hour for $5 cocktails.
Disappointing. I was not deterred, but I found this a little ridiculous.
After having a cocktail and a few beers at Silo's, I closed my tab to have the equally priced, non-happy hour cocktails from Nosh (their tabs did not transfer over) as the atmosphere was better. I was still sober and was looking to try out the different beers that Nosh had to offer as well as guzzle down the delicious ginger cocktail that was the dark and stormy.
At this point, the bartender from Nosh was attempting to convince me to slow down after hearing from Silo's bartender that I've had a few drinks. Not a chance, I was perfectly fine, but I wasn't trying to cause a scene being my first time here. I was basically forced to order food if I wanted another drink, so I obliged (I had eaten before arriving, but it's not like that would change anything). After ordering, I was told that they had over-served customers in the past and a bartender was fired. Not my problem, but I was treated as though it were.
Management had told the bartender that they could not serve me any longer, as I was drinking too much. Being the only customer in Nosh at this point, I was a little bewildered, so I paid my tab and left after only having one cocktail at Nosh. Sad.
Delicious food, nice room, great service, quiet vibe and sensual lighting. Tables are not too close together so it's got a private feel. The chefs are skillful and the ingredients are imaginative. Great wine selection and desserts that inspire sweet toothed poets.
This place is heaven. My husband took me here for our aniversity. The food delicious. I had the flounder. But the crab cab was spectacular. The waiter was so intuative and friendly. It's a bit pricey, but if you want to treat yourself this is a nice place to go.
They have good food and it is consistently good. Have been here a few times though mostly using a Groupon discounts. My wife and I have had just about everything on the menu, and I would say with the exception of the pasta that accompanied the crab cake , everything was quite good. It is very dark, and I do hope they change up the menu soon since like I have said we have had just about everything here and we like to be adventurous.
Every time I go I tell them to surprise me. And every time, I am never disappointed. Truffle fries. squid ink pasta shrimp and cucumber salad I could go on and on you'll never be disappointed with the food OR staff.
Don't trust the hours posted for dinner at this location. During a brief trip to San Antonio for business, I made a 9:15 reservation for dinner, since I planned on seeing a 2+ hour movie at the nearby Alamo Drafthouse beforehand. Upon leaving the movie at 8:50, I saw I had received 2 calls from Silo during the film. They called again at 9:02, and the woman who called was intensely concerned with letting me know that the kitchen closes at 9:30, even though all their posted hours state that dinner is available until 10pm. I rushed to get there as fast as possible, but when I arrived the host station was empty. The place was quite busy, hard to imagine why I was pressured to risk my safety speeding to the restaurant. Finally the kindly bartender noticed me, and while he was very apologetic and assured me that the kitchen was indeed open until 10, I had little faith in receiving quality food and service. Clearly there are some employees at this location more concerned with their personal post-work plans than they are about alienating paying customers. And I had a full day's worth of business expense budget to make use of! I asked for my Open Table reservation to be cancelled so I might switch to one of many local restaurants that actually desire patronage from late night diners and adhere to their advertised hours. My reservation remained, so I still had to spoil my dinner by taking time to call Open Table for prompt and responsible handling of my situation. Included here is a photo of a text I was sent from Silo twenty minutes before my reservation time asking me to hurry up and get to the restaurant.
“Dinner ”
Great service with a smile. Waiter was very helpful . Made a great recommendation with the 3 course and drink selection. I definitely will be coming back for another night out. I recommend making dinner reservations for a table to avoid a wait when you arrive. Quality service often times draws a crowd. Come with a reservation and enjoy the
