Been going every July since 1985 and get there two hours before they open to get are favorite picnic spot. And time feels like it goes to fast!! And every year I'm already looking forward to next July. . Food and tickets can be a little high for some. But with free parking and get to bring in own food and drinks. . It makes up for it.. Hands Down BEST WATER PARK EVER !!!!!! Love Schlitterbahn

Such an awesome family experience! This park is actually built on a river. It's personally my favorite vacation that we would take as a family every year when I was young. Stay in the cabins on the park and book a year in advance to secure a room.

Had a great time with family. My boys who are 2 and 5 yrs old enjoyed the park and the activities they had there for their age. Will definitely be back next summer.

I am a 39 year old cripple guy, t-3, t,4. From mid chest down. I loved going to Schlitterbahn when I was walking. Great times. Now days when we go, I just sit there in the shade and drink seven dollar beer. I could get on some of the tube shoots and things like that, it would just really slow things down, how would I get back to my chair Just lots of questions. I don't expect them to "fix" the park for cripple people, I just don't think I should have to pay for a $40 ticket.

This place has the most awesome employees to help with handicapped guest. Our friend who is currently in a wheelchair due to loss of feeling in one leg was treated like the PRESIDENT. They provided the wheelchair and also had employees push him everywhere we wanted to go. We got to cut the line on every ride. They waited for him at the end of every ride too. They were always in a happy, great mood. Waited on him hand and foot. I was very impressed with that. He actually didn't want to go but after being provided the information of the help he would receive while visiting here, He gave it a try. We were not disappointed. 5 stars!!!

Best water park? I used to visit here when I was a kid. Never had to wait in so many long lines. The resort is a high priced mess and the buses have no a/c and look and ride like they're all falling apart. Had several issues with lodging with no offer of a room reassignment or discount. Room was tiny for four people, very dated, and dirty. Most of the staff play dumb when asking them questions. Park layout is confusing and maps are useless. This place needs a serious facelift.

This was my first time at a Schlitterbahn ever and my family LOVED it! The lines weren't too long, the park was nicely maintained, nothing was closed, and the food we ordered was ready within 10 mins. The line to order wasn't long either. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The park wasn't over crowded as I thought it would be. The longest line we stood in was one hour, the rest moved along fairly quickly and the long rides made it worth it. The transit buses were a Godsend; we enjoyed going from one side of the park to the other. We will definitely be back!

A young male was brought out from the water unconscious and purple. Around 6 lifeguards were standing around the body doing nothing. Ten minutes later another lifeguard put an oxygen mask on the young male.Nothing else was done, not even CPR. Thank goodness an ambulance came. The young male was taken to the hospital.TRAIN YOUR LIFEGUARDS!!!! The people that enter into the park are putting their lifes in these lifeguards hands!

From the time we got there what a mess. Front desk check-in very unprepared and very confused staff. Do not go if you don't have your on transportation. Check-in on one side of park and cabin on other. No way to get there no trolly running. If trolly was running we still would have had to lug our luggage for one end to the other to get to cabin. Confused staff threw out park. They call themselves a resort but definition does not fit. It is just a water park not resort. No food other then your average park food. Walked a mile to get food. Cabin way over priced for what you get in return. I will never come back or recommend to anyone i know. So disappointed considering we where so excited to come what a let down. Should have gone to Disney like we planned.

Over half the park was closed when we went which was not stated on the website! At the entrance we were told only 1 of 3 parks were shut down however as we went inside, we realized it was over 50% shut down. Drove 2.5 hours for a big disappoinment. I took a vacation day and had a horrible time. We asked for a refund after realizing how much of the park was closed. they offered half price tickets for the following day. When we refused and just wanted our money back, they said not possible. I Don't recommend going to any place with bad customer service. We spent less than1 hour in the water and left. This was supposed to be the worlds best water park- definitely not!

I went to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfuls last summer with my friends and stayed at the resort across the street from the park. When I walked in for the first time I was amazed it was beautiful. It was worth the drive and the money. We had so much fun it has everything from games to food and thrilling rides to a relaxing lazy river. They're staff was helpful when we were trying to get to a specific ride but got distracted by another. I would also recommend checking out their gift shop they have a lot of cool things to bring home for your friends or family.
