The new lodge seems more instatutional than I'd like but it is bigger with more seating while eating. Huge windows show slopes and outside. The ski slopes are fun and most aren't hard to ski. They have a tubing area and cross country.

Even when theres no snow, theres a place to ski, snowboard, sled, and tube. Its real nice when theres less people to clutter the slopes, otherwise if you cant turn, like me, you have to stop yourself from hitting them by falling. All in all it was a great experience, and its real fun to do.

Great place for the family to ski in Ohio. Quite a few easy runs for beginners. Friendly staff and lodge is kept clean and warm.

Incredible place reasonable price for the amazing and easy to get a round facilities. The best ski resort in Ohio, though the competition is slim. I grew up on the hills of mad river on the winter. The terrain is for all ages and has jumps for the pros and hills for the new skiers. The lodge is fantastic and has great food though on a pricey side in my opinion. You can expect to pay about 90$ for a day at the park for one normal adult without discounts. Which they do offer ! The lessons are great and the instructors genuinely care if you learn and enjoy it. I only wish that Ohio got more snow!

We went here to watch a band and people snowboarding and skiing was a good time and did not expect to have fireworks going off that was pretty cool to see over the snow covered hills. Lots of fun. I want to go back to go tubing.

Given the horrible Winter the mid Atlantic area has had, Mad River has made the most of it. The had a great base and 100% open. The new lodge is very nice and had a nice selection of food options. I chose this ski resort over Perfect North which is 30 minutes away. Mad River is 2 hours away

Best hill in the area. Good park, well maintained. Food is reasonable for the setting. New lodge is nice and clean. Can't beat college Friday's. I think it would be a big benefit to have more college discount days.

Great staff, and apprentice program for ski patrol. The tubing area is fun and all facilities are kept in tip top condition. Great beginner lessons available and the lift operators are always friendly.

Lots of fun. Well maintained area. Friendly employees. Not much for food options if you get hungry. It has a giant fire pit if you get cold. It does take a bit between slides. It's about a half hour between slides, due to distance walking, slow conveyor belt with far spacing put between people, and the wait at the top. The kids enjoyed it.
