The theater we were in smelled like urine. Seats are old school from when they first built the building (I know cause I went there when it was first builtit was nice then). Sad that the owner won't update like Rave or Regal. My grandkids said they don't want to go back ever again. Unless they update we won't!
Really like this theater, although it could use some updating with the seating. The seating is small. Other than that, great little place!
This is a great place to spend time enjoying the little things. Good staff and good food.
Food prices are normal for cinemas
Tickets are reasonable also. Iv been hear many times always have a great time with friends and family. Ok for dates and can buy extra tickets to ues or give as gifts.
I go here all the time. I love going here when there's nothing else to do. Relatively clean place and friendly service.
Needs to be updated .snacks for the movie = low quality.floors away sticky.popcorn tastes stell. Will not go here again will goto Dayton or Columbus.
Date night with my babe. Had a GRT time. Movie was awesome.
A rating of my experience, not the amenities.
I appreciated the ticket price, the concession prices and the overall cleanliness of the theatre. The staff I had encountered were all very kind and professional. The seating was ample. No cup holders, but that isn't the end of the world. The sound was fantastic. There weren't 500 advertisements prior to the movie. In and out.
A classic movie theater gem that's resisted doing what everyone else is doing. The theater has stayed true to its original design that's nostalgic and is family owned and operated. The company has as rich of history as you'll find amongst Midwest theater owners. It's the perfect size as more than 10 screens with the movie coming out of Hollywood now aren't worth the space. The theaters capture the feeling I grew up with and it's why I continue to go back.
Very expensive to sit so crammed up. The sad thing is rather than fix or upgrade this city would probably destroy rather than give us what we deserve. A fair priced comfortable safe movie experience linked to the old days. And oh yea Sheriffs profile you with the garbage of this town. Sorry I wore a jersey and some Max's officer I'm actually an honor student out with my daughter to see Beauty and the Beast
I love this theater, it is old and dated but the staff is always great and they always have good showing times
Great Local / Family owned business. Please keep the Springfield tradition. Support this business! You people who write negative reviews seriously need to focus. Get a life? It's a conclusion that's not going to happen, but would be nice if some semblance may occur. I'm not financially involved with this business whatsoever. No perks here. Simply a customer / consumer. Get a grip folks. There are a few more important things in life than bashing a company who is trying it's best to provide entertainment. Out of the basement, off the cell's, no txt/driving. BHO/HC failure. Figure out how to handle it. Life IS worth living. You might want to start getting used to it for the hopeful future of our children GBA
This place is absolutely disgusting. The restrooms smell and look awful, the floors are sticky. The whole place smells like must and shame. Nothing like I remember it being as a child. Hire someone to clean this place properly and it wouldn't be so bad!
Needs many updates. It's impossible to eat when you don't have a place for your drink. Seats completely worn out. Love the place.
