The Atrium room we were in was set up well with enough space between rows. The lighting was good. There were two thermostats available but we didn't need to adjust. The downside was we could hear music from somewhere else in the building, in our training session. It was mildly distracting. Bathrooms were clean. It's an older looking facility and could use a facelift. Staff was helpful and pleasant to interact with. Recommended for seminars and training.

A SOLID 5 stars! Fantastic hotel and fantastic staff. Everyone was friendly and everyone worked hard to make sure our stay was the best it could be. From the shuttle driver who picked us up to the front desk staff to the gift shop to the room service waitress and everyone in between. This is truly a special hotel with a level of service and attention to detail you rarely find at hotels costing twice as much. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re coming to Albuquerque.

Excellent hotel for the price. Older hotel but very clean, awesome staff, breakfast and 5 star cocktails. Amenities in the bathroom definitely a nice touch. The small things are key and the reason we chose this hotel. Oh oh and the bed was heavenly!

The MCM Elegante is very dog friendly in name and practice. They were extremely accommodating, and I'm very grateful. The shuttle driver, John, was also extremely helpful in navigating transportation at a conference under unusual circumstances. Their staff was adaptable, friendly, and brightened my day on more than one occasion. It's definitely casual as they advertise, so don't expect a Hilton. However, it's also more welcoming and comfortable than a fancy place. If I find myself coming back for a school conference again in the future, I'd consider it good news.

Room was great and location was great. I normally only stay in top of the line luxury hotels but this time I decided to give this hotel a try. Every staff member was very helpful except the one that checked me in. She was very rude and unprofessional that makes me not want to stay at that hotel again. Customer service is a priority to me. When I arrived I called to see if I could check in early because my flight was there early the girl I spoke over the phone said “yes of course we can get you early check in at 2pm. So I arrive at 2pm and the girl at the counter wa rude she didn’t even acknowledge me or even smile. What’s so hard about that? She just said “sorry we don’t have any clean rooms available and within left than a minute my contract was printed? Really? No clean room? If it’s one thing I don’t like is “lies” just a friendly advice to the girl that checked me in next time be friendly, welcoming and smile :)

A bit on the older side but a decent hotel nonetheless. The beds are comfy. The free shuttle service is very convenient for rides to and from the airport or other local spots. It's great that they offer a free tasty hot breakfast as well as happy hour drinks as part of the room rates. I have stayed there at the last 2 years during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and have been pleased.

"VIP" Hallway smelled like a sewer. Bar refused to serve us, even though there were a dozen patrons already enjoying drinks, and it was 1h before closing time.
    Carpet in hallways looked rundown.
Beds were very comfortable room was clean. Bathroom was up to date.

Decent hotel for the price. Good breakfast. Hotel is very convenient in that there is a bar and restaurant. Kids loved the pool and the fact that they where able to stay late. Hotel front desk was very helpful. Hotel gift shop has anything you might need and more. Prices at the gift shop where reasonable. The parking lot was well lit.

I frequently drive across the US and Route 66 is my preferred path. It's seldom I stay at hotels, unless I'm traveling with my family.
Figured Albuquerque was a good point to rest for the 33hr trek. Looked for hotels online prior to arriving. Opted for this place solely based on the breakfast option. It was reminiscent of dorm hall mornings 20 years ago. I could barely eat the food and the fresh omelet chef was nowhere to be found until the last 15 minutes.
    Pros:
    - Nice staff and well-lit parking lot
    - Overall clean rooms, hot shower, cold A/C unit.
    - Close to other breakfast options, freeway, banks and gas stations
    Cons:
    - Pool was closed
    - Bad breakfast
    - Dirty carpets everywhere
Yes, the building is dated. However, it is good to see the staff take pride in providing service and smiles. Not up to my general standards, but 100% acceptable regarding being served well with sincerity.

I wish I could give this place no star, that's how bad the string of experiences have been for my family. I used to work for them and they had constant bed bug issues. Their parking lost has a lot of bums and customer vehicles get broken into often, especially if you have tools. Even after leaving the company, my family still used the hotel until recently, but then they decided to double charge my dad's card and no one would contact him back. It took two months and he finally gave up. La Quinta Inn across the street is a much better place of business if you need to stay in this area.

I had a great time. Everyone was super friendly. Classic decor. It's as elegant as the name implies. Better deal than the newer hotels.

We had our school's prom here. The service & space was great! The room itself got so extremely hot and there wasn't much of a way to cool it down. After the event, some of the staff stayed in the bar for a drink. The service was good and the drinks were reasonably priced.

The lobby was rather busy when I first entered which would be from the business conference which was going on. We were helped by an incredibly nice man. After we got our room key, we went into a very nice room. We proceeded to order a 16inch pizza from room service. We didn't get to have breakfast since we slept in 'til 10:00. The lobby was busy when we checked out.

We really enjoyed our stay at the MCM Elegante Hotel. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, they greeted you every time you passed one in the hallways! The rooms were very clean, perhaps even recently remodeled. The room comes with a hot breakfast, and two free drinks during happy hour at the lounge. The pool was clean and well heated. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
