Beautiful place for a concert or comedy show. Great sound for concerts, not too loud like some places can be. Parking is less Than perfect.

Love this place. This place will have anything from movies to amazing stand up to music. The venue it self is beautiful!

The venue is wonderful. Amazing architecture. Plenty of parking garages surrounding the place. The event I attended had ticket pickup at the box office only. Just one little door for the little box office room. Lots of people trying to get in and out and then had to get in line again to get in the venue. Thought that was a little silly to be almost late for the show when I showed up so early

Had to wait in line forever and it sucks in the rain, but the inside is gorgeous, every detail. I saw markiplier perform and it was a great time. Our main issue inside was the fact that they make people leave their bags and purses at the service desk

This place had such elegant artwork! My only compliant is that I don't feel like they were very well organized or prepared for the crowd thst Markiplier brought. It was mass chaos waiting in lines, and they ran out of food and drink before the show ever started. Overall, it was a nice venue though.

This is a Louisville gem! There is not a bad seat in this gorgeous building. Perfect venue for anything. Love, love love visiting the Palace.

I've seen concerts and comedy here.
Concerts gets 5 stars. The sound system is amazing, especially for a historic theater. There is not a bad seat in the house.
Comedy gets the four star. While the sound system is on point for music, conversational speaking was more difficult to hear in such a large space.
Overall amazing experience and one of my favorite venues in the city.response / report this review -

The achitecture is astounding here. EVERYTHING is exquisitely designed. There is also not a bad seat in the house. Be sure to get there early to admire the decor.

It's beautiful but kind of an odd place for certain shows. I saw Clutch, Lucero, and the Sword. This is not a typical venue for Clutch. The sound was phenomenal but there was no room to jive.

The theater is beautiful inside. I was surprised how long it took to get into the building due to metal scanners. I appreciated the security, but surely there is a way to speed things up. Glad I got there early!

A beautiful old theater where we saw Steve Martin and Martin Short. The details in the woodwork and finish is something that can't be found in anything new. The seating is comfortable with the 'normal' amount of individual space around you. There is also a very nice bar area with lots of people to wait on you. No lines or waiting. The only drawback was the tradeoff we all experience between getting into the theater quickly and the need for security and the metal detectors. I'm from a small city and metal detectors was a new experience for me. The lighting and sound were fine. All in all a grand ole place.
