Great micro-brews. The swaze-burger is not for the faint of heart. I can take some serious heat; this pushed the limit. If you are a heat junkie, DO IT! Pure blissful, painful, HEAT. Going back for more for sure. The long wait is well worth it. Please do not go to reservations, keep it survival of the fittest.
The new location is absolutely fantastic. If you go toward the back of the restaurant, you will see parts of the bowling alley they kept as part of the floor. Really neat new location.response / report this review -

I've loved this restaurant for years but I will admit that the one previous draw back was the extremely tight dining area. Last night I had the opportunity to visit their newer location (not sure when the move was made because it has been a while since my last visit) and the change in location made me love it even more. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the food never disappoints. We had the good fortune of sitting at what I would call the chef's table because it was the booth that overlooked the open kitchen and it was certainly enjoyable seeing all of the "next time" things to try. Keep in mind, this is not a cheap dinner, but it's also not cheap food. The quality and service is absolutely in line with the price. I hope you enjoy!!

Coolest location to eat on the Lawrenceville square! The building is old and modern all at time. Great food and the beer selection never disappoints. The pimento cheese appetizers is really good. They server everything from sandwiches and burgers to dinner type food. I like any of their sandwiches or burgers with a good beer. Down stairs/patio is a little more related (quiet) and the upstairs is the louder/bar area. But either area is good, it just depends what your preferences are. Also the upstairs has a balcony to step out on and get some fresh air with a nice view of the square. Definitely check it out!!

This place is one of my local favorites. Great American favorites with an upscale feel. The cocktails are expertly made and the atmosphere is full of energy. Great date night location or dinner out with friends.

WOW thank you Chelsea for being an awesome an engaging server to us this afternoon! Will be returning soon for the awesome food, atmosphere, and great service; I 110%recommend coming to Local Republic. The food is so delicious with big portions that satisfy individual item pricing. The outside patio was lovely for a relaxing yet exciting foodie lunch complete with tasty beer and all the fries we could handle. 40$ gave us two main courses, drinks, a beer and dry cider which was more than plenty for the two of us. Thanks again for a great lunch experience!

I've always liked this place, going back to their old location. Beer menu is always a lot of fun, and food is almost always really good. We have had some misses on the food, and sometimes feel like it's almost therebut off a little. Would never call it bad. Atmosphere of new location is awesome, and I would recommend giving it a try!

The sink burger will rock your world. It's a burger, eggs, and whatever the cook feels like adding to it. Mine had sausage, onion, potatoes, tomato, lettuce , bacon and a couple of things I couldn't describe. Great food. My wife had fish tacos that was delicious, fish was perfectly cooked, well appointed. Daughter had bacon mac and cheese, large portions, and yummy.
Would be 5 stars, but the staff were a bit dismissive and inflexible on orders.

Our favorite local restaurant! The food is excellent, the service is awesome and the atmosphere is like nothing else in the area. We loved the old location because it was small and cozy and somehow they've tripled their size and it still feels that way. One thing I've noticed is their staff is pretty much constant.doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover which tells me they're doing something right. In the restaurant business that doesn't happen a lot. You will not be disappointed when you visit LR but you will have to wait a bit.it's always busy!

The food, beer selection, and staff are still top notch and the new location is an excellent upgrade! Craft beer and craft cocktails are the best in Lawrenceville. Food items are fresh, innovative, and delicious. This place will be sought out on beautiful days when the garage doors are open!

We absolutely love this place and everyone involved. Great staff and management. Fantastic food and great place to hang in downtown Lawrenceville. Heady brews and top notch cocktails are also on point. Patio is the best to people watch and vibe out!!!

Not a chain. Just great food. I've had several things here. Can't wait to go back.
Today, 2/20/17, I had their Patrick Swayze Burger cooked medium and added lettuce and tomato. Yes, pretty spicy hot but not like out of this world hot. However, I put Habineros on my burgers at home and of course, everyone is different. Order this burger with care in regards to spiciness, just saying :) Definitely, I would order this again.response / report this review -

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great drinks. I love that they can now serve more than beer & wine. Big plates and burgers are really good but mostly I order several small plates to noble worth my husband while we drink.
