The food was delicious. The portion sizes were great for the money you spend. Only downfall was the margaritas were small compared to other restaurants. The chips and dip were awesome and I'm picky about my salsa lol. The service was awesome but it was a Tuesday night so can't attest to what it would be like on a busy night.

Moved to Duluth about a year and a half ago and this has been one of my go to restaurants from the start. It has a great atmosphere, amazing staff and on point food/drinks. I always find myself here on a regular basis.

Food was pretty good but unfortunately their grill was broken when I was there, so the food selection was limited. I got a salad with fried fish (they could do fried food). Overall it was decent, just too many onions for my liking. It was overloaded with them. The fish was good. Chips and salsa were also good.

Stop in today around 2:30 to get lunch today 11/10/2017, to grab lunch to go, the place was nice and the food smelled delicious ! The waitress was nice, I ordered 3 chicken tacos to go, everything was going fine then I ask the waitress could I add a teaspoon scoop cheese sauce on my rice , she was really nice and ask the cook to add a small spoon of cheese sauce on my rice, the manager freak out and immediately order the waitress to charge me $3.99 for a full bowl of cheese dip, the waitress and I both were shock, but the manager was adamant about it ! I left disappointed. I will never come back to this place or recommend this place. I'm just shocked that he freaked out over some thing so small.

Food was excellent, service friendly, and fast, order correct. Nice place for food and drink, in a very nice, clean, safe, quiet, cozy, and romantic locale. Lovely wonderful park short stroll past Red Clay away. Easy. More a testimate to the city of Duluth, but Pure was open Sunday evening. Will be back, surely.

Tex-mex place with good food and drink menu. It is in a good location and like the ambience inside. Parking at times may be difficult but free parking available. Thumbs up 👍 for their margaritas!

I've been coming here since 2011. Food is always amazing. Drinks are even better. The service trumps everything. I usually get bored of places, but Pure is different. From hostess to server to bartender to management - great people and just fun place.

Everything I have ordered or tried here is delicious. The wait staff is always fast, kind, and just the right amount of attentive. Great location in downtown Duluth makes it fun to just grab a bite and enjoy the scenery.

While I am not a huge fan of red sauce cooked chicken the tacos were delicious and fresh. The guacamole is the best I have had around the Duluth area. Service was adequate nothing over the top. Resteraunt was mostly clean of you look for dust, dirt, and splatter you can find it.

Really good Mexican food, nice atmosphere. Came here for lunch with some co-workers and ordered the chicken taquitos with rice and beans and I thought it was really good. It's a little pricey but I'd definitely go back again.
They also had the dining area opened up with a large screen surround the entire area which was cool since it was like sitting inside and outside at the same time.response / report this review -

Your website says you close at 11; however, when my wife and I decided to come to on Thursday you were closed so we thought maybe something happened that caused you to close early, so we didn't think much of it. But when I decided to take her out to dinner on Saturday, (once again the website said the closing time was 11) we get to the restaurant and it is closed at 9:30 on a freaking Saturday are you kidding me? I mean do you think it would be kind of an intelligent idea to update the times on your website?

When I went with my family a few nights ago, they were very busy. This resulted in our service being a little slow, but that is to be expected and the staff handled this quick pace very well. Everyone was super friendly the entire way and I definitely recommend Pure for a night out with friends, family, or significant others!
