Wonderful atmosphere, fair prices, and caring staff!

The place looked really nice and everyone else's hair looked great. My personal experience was that I said I didn't want to look like a poodle and I look exactly like a poodle. I wanted loose curl or wave perm. I'm too embarrassed to put my picture up. I style out the perm every time I wash it. The point was to not have to waste time styling. What a waste of money. The manager who was so quick to recommend someone won't answer my complaint. I was just trying to make my life easier.
Later: the manager actually did call back but I couldn't access my voicemail at the time. She said the girl who did my hair can show me how to style it. I already know how to style it. I was getting my hair done so I wouldn't have to keep spending time on it. Now I spend more time. Good grief.
12/1/2017: I didn't have time to style out the perm this morning so I wore it to work for the 1st time and I'm already on my 4th compliment: I look younger, more energetic, etc. Also, my brutally honest father in law saw it earlier this week and said how nice my hair looked, so I'm going to shut up and rock the perm! I upped from 2 to 3 stars. I'm happy now, but I still feel they could've worked harder at less of a poodle look and it shouldn't have cost so much.response / report this review -

Doing 2 stars for mercy, uneven cut, left me covered in hair. Going back to the barber shop to get myself fixed up. Good thing I don’t start my new job tomorrow at 9am

There isn't anything I would change about my experience at Lisa Thomas Salon. The customer service I received when scheduling my appointment and upon entering the salon was excellent. I was greeted immediately. Everyone was smiling and overall pleasant. It was a very welcoming environment.
I had my eyebrows waxed and my hair cut by Annie. I felt like she really took the time to listen and understand what I was asking for. She was very informative of different services and products the salon had to offer. I appreciated her relevant suggestions and that she didn't assume I knew what was out there.
My hair and eyebrows look amazing. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my next hair appointmen!response / report this review -

I went to this business for a haircut and I felt with a great haircut. Thanks for the hairdresser and trainer. They listen to what I wanted. Interesting experience.
