worse experience the girl who was taking orders for food was so rude and you can tell she was racist i’m a white women so she was absolutely nice to me but i had a group of mexicans behind me she didn’t even say can i help you or anything she just stared at them till they were ready to order. such a disgusting place where you have to deal with disgusting people i would not recommend this place unless you wanna be treated awful just because the color of you’re skin! and the girl who served me was a brunette with natural curls i wish i got her name so i could put her on blast for her nasty attitude

Oak Forest is a family owned business that excels in customer service. They do a great job of balancing the needs of open bowlers and long-term league bowlers. My kids love open bowling on the weekends.

My granddaughter had her birthday party here, bowling and food was great but they over booked that day and the kids party room wasn't available so the kids ate pizza, cake and ice cream out on the main floor with all the people coming in for bowling leagues. Just a big screw up!

Small Town feel with some modern amenities, full bar and sitting area as well as food. The lanes bowl nice as well. Overall decent place

This is a very racist facility. VERY racist. They talked to me nicely on the phone. Gave me instructions and deposit prices regarding booking a party. Once we stepped into the facility to proceed with the arrangements( where they became able to see that I was actually a black woman) both of the previous conversations apparently became just my imagination. They stated that I asked about booking a lane for open bowl. Who in their right mind accepts reservations for open bowl and who makes arrangements for open bowl? That makes no sense. Also, I was told on the phone that I could not book my party at 630pm because there was already a booked party for that time and that I could book my party for 5pm or 7pm. So, why would I be informed of party booking times if I called to question open bowl? Not true, I called regarding a party but once my black face was shown the arrangements and prices I was given were no longer valid. RACISTS. I'll spend my $500 with owners or employees there that looks more like me.

Worker is very rude and racist. Was nasty with our party from the second we walked in. Blamed us for the balls constantly getting stuck and not returning (how?) Never again will we return!

Warning: Don't believe the wait time for open bowling that you will be told over the phone. We called ahead and was told it was an hour wait. Arrived around 8:15 and the lead front counter person said lanes would open up because a league would "soon" be done. Lanes began to clear from the league as it neared 9:30pm (not soon in my book), but apparently every league bowler has to physically leave the building before a lane can be made available for open bowling. At 9:45, there had to be 15 or so open lanes but no names are being called. Then, a group of 6 drunk and disorderly people arrive and give the counter guy a hard time because they are told there is a waiting list for lanes. They give the guy crap because there are so many lanes not being used. So, after we have waited an hour and a half (along with a whole bunch of others waiting), this group goes straight to the front of the line and gets two lanes. When I ask about our spot, he now tells me a lane is open but because it is now after 9:30, I'll need to pay the higher cosmic bowling rate. The drunk group just paid at the regular rate. After complaining, he backs down and gives me the rate we would have paid at 8:15pm. It didn't seem like anyone really knew what they were doing or how to run a business. But, if on a weekend night, you want better, faster service - come in drunk, give the counter people crap and be as disrespectful as possible, and you will get great customer service. Will never go here again.

Plenty of bowling lanes. Check website for league nights and call to see if they have extra lanes available. Plenty of beer choices though prices seem high for Oak Forest(a bucket of 5 domestic beers for $15). Food is mediocre when prepared properly and to order. Summer allows adults (over 21) to sit outside in a huge outdoor area which includes 2 sand volleyball courts, room for 4 set ups for bags and a fire pit to warm yourself on those cool nights.
