Love Jeffery LaMorte! Ask for Dawn who is very talented and experienced hair stylist. I get complements for my haircut and highlight at the time.

I have been a customer at Jeffrey La Morte for almost 3 years now. I am VERY picky about my hair and Tana has been working her magic on it ever since I started coming to the salon. I have used a variety of their services in addition to hair (nails, spa, etc) and have had nothing but fabulous experiences. The salon itself is very clean and very nice. The spa area is very relaxing. The nail facilities are also top notch. I have had the best nail treatments there. They have yet to disappoint and for an upscale salon and spa, are very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend it!

I got my legs waxed at the Jeffrey La Morte in Lemont, and the woman, named Susana, first of all, wasn't gentle at all.
I've had my legs waxed tons of times before, but she acted like she didn't know what to do. She didn't hold my skin tight when she pulled, and she forgot to wax the back of my legs. She said, 'ok, we're done' after doing the front of my legs and my bikini area, and I had to remind her to do the back!
On top of that, she missed a bunch of hair.
Not to mention, she double dipped the wax. You are supposed to use one stick once and not dip it back into the communal wax. She kept using a stick multiple times. Unfortunately, I didn't notice her doing this until we were half way done, otherwise I would have left. This is unsanitary.
The spa itself looks clean, but if one of their waxing girls double dips the waxing sticks, it makes you wonder what other shortcuts they are taking.response / report this review
