Absolutely wonderful! The waiter was really nice and the food was outstanding! Parking was metered but it was easy to find a spot.
Small amount of vegetarian dishes (it's a seafood place to state the obvious), I got dragged here by friends. Beer was very good and all my friends loved their dinners.
Great specials at lunch. Delicious! Wish the fried dill pickle basket appetizer was chips instead of spears. Would have been cooked more and not so tart. Actual meals were perfect.
I've had better artichoke dip at Apple bees! It may have just been a bad experience but it's the only one that I have to go by. The seared tuna was just OK and the plate looked better than it tasted. The crab legs though were good but it's not that hard to make snow crab legs. The drink however was good, Manhattan iced tea! The notion that is usually true wasn't in this case you're supposed to get what you pay for??
Highly recommend this family owned restaurant. Food is great! Healthy, good portions. Try the wheat beer if you are so inclined. Wait staff is perfect.
They brew and serve their own beer. Happy hour specials were good for sandwiches and beer. Teriyaki fish special was excellent and highly recommended.
Pretty good seafood, but I have only been here for brunch. I love seafood eggs benedicts! My waiter did not inform me of the Bloody Mary bar that I saw as I was walking out, which I would have liked to have known about during my meal.
Beer was good, but not life-changing like the food was. We had the cod sandwich and the salmon Reuben, both we fantastic. Our server was quick and extraordinarily friendly, we will definitely be back!
A couple friends and I have done brunch here twice now and both times our experience has been pretty amazing. Especially if you like crab they have a full plate of snow crab legs that are large and cooked perfectly for $30. It's hard to find that anywhere around here. Not only that but all of our dishes two tables were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.
My first time here I was lucky enough to come during happy hour. I got a great fish sandwich, sweet potato fries, and fried pickles for around $15, and I had a pint of their own beer to go with it. It made for a wonderful afternoon. I would highly recommend coming and seeing it for yourself. I know I'll be back.
Waiting staff is friendly and polite. They have the best beer of all the royal oak breweries
The walnut crusted perch was awesome. Crab was good, but it was pretty basic as expected. I tasted 4 different beers. I'd recommend the Sven IPA if you like that kind of beer. If you like dark beers, the gayles chocolate porter was excellent. Some food items are pretty expensive but you can eat good, less expensive items here too.
I have always enjoyed the seafood options here! Portions are good sized, and they brew their own Beer. Delicious!
Fantastic Brunch! Our friends love it and we had to try it. Awesome wait staff as well. 5/5!
Friendly staff, great beer and whiskey selections, and unique flavors served well.
It's a little less seafood than you would expect from the name, but any place that serves me calamari that's cooked, but not to the point of turning it into little pieces of rubber, gets a head start at 5 stars.
I never would have put together a corned smoked salmon reuben, but it works.
Well done!
