The place has a large younger crowd. The food and service was very good. The prices are reasonable. I enjoyed my lunch. There are parking structures close by with the standard rate for downtown.

Ordered the Reuben and it was awesome. Good selection of local beers and the service was great. Go in expecting a nice pub atmosphere and you won't be disappointed. Glad I stopped by.

Great food and good atmosphere. Great place to just grab a drink, or go for a full meal. Would recommend to anyone visiying Hart Plaza or downtown in general.

Food is good, not a ton of variety though. Drink selection is excellent. The speed of the food is the biggest downfall. It takes absolutely forever. I’ve been here for brunch and dinner on a number of occasions and without fail, the service is incredibly slow.

Always a five star experience here. Great local pub with delicious food. The Foran burger is one of their signature sandwiches (pictured) accompanied with a homemade Bloody Mary. It's a must try! They also do an awesome Brunch. Great beer selection and full bar. This used to be an of ticket station for the train back in the day, hence the beautiful architecture.

Went on a first date with my boyfriend here. We just had drinks and chatted. Stayed for hours because the atmosphere was excellent. Even though it was busy, the acoustics made conversation easy. No one pressured us to order more, or to move on so they could turn over the table. Tables were a little too close together, so there wasn't much privacy, but overall a wonderful place to make an important memory.

So while I had been there once or twice before for a quick drink on my way somewhere else, last Sunday (6/11/17) was the first time I had gone there as my destination. On a date and after dinner, we headed to Grand Trunk for drinks and a low key environment. The staff was incredible and very accommodating. The bartenders were friendly, quick and extremely personable. At one point we were the only people sitting at the bar, but they never made us feel rushed but also gave us our space and checked back periodically. As a side note, the music was incredible. I asked one of the bartenders what it was and it was a Pandora station that the day manager had thrown on and they just let it run. It was a great mix that fit the vibe of the night. It wasn't too loud or genre specific, but it was perfect ambient music. I would recommend this place to any and all for fun spot in Detroit and I am genuinely looking forward to going there again.

The atmosphere is great, old time western saloon feel. Service was great every time I was there. Though, the walkways are cramped, during to the shotgun style building (long and narrow).

Love this place! Amazing beer battered chicken strips!!!! And the fries are awesome, too! And the upstairs seating makes for a great view of the whole restaurant/bar.

    Grand Trunk is great.

The beer selection is always top notch, and the food is all greasy, deep fried goodness. Also, the service is usually pretty solid.

The only knock I have is the setup on the bar side - I don't know if it's an afterthought, or to maximize seating capacity, but the short tables along the wall opposite the bar are a rough spot to sit. It makes the aisle uncomfortably narrow, and it's nearly impossible not to get bumped by other patrons every few minutes while sitting there.

Something like a long counter with standing room or high top stools would probably work a lot better.

Best lobster omelettes in town. Great brunch, drinks are standard, pretty decent local beer selection (although who doesn't have that these days?). I love the atmosphere in the front portion, but heaven forbid you get sat in the back portion (it's just not as cool). I pretty much only come here for brunch on weekends and sometimes a drink late at night. I just wish they had brunch during the week, I still can't believe they don't! Service is usually decent, never really had a terrible experience. Also, pray you don't have to go to the bathroom, they are something out of a war scene.

I came here with a friends for a birthday. There were four of us and a baby. When we walked in, the hostess was funny and hospitable. We were seated immediately. We ordered our food and drinks and the food came super quick!! The food was amazing and piping hot!! A plus in my book. 😁 Our waitress was super attentive and my friend got a free birthday shot!! Excellent customer service. Excellent experience!! We WILL be back!!
