A rustic old home sits behind the lush golf course a beautifully manicured grounds. A small elopement wedding for out of town visitors staying at the resort. This is a hidden gem. Photo by Amanda Comer shows this quaint beauty.
This course has a good mix of holes, different length par 3s and 4s. Consistent sand traps, good grass in the fairways and the ruff is playable. Some greens are elevated but must important they were all fast and true.
This is the best kept secret in Phoenix. The most beautiful public golf course I have ever seen on over 200 acres near every shop, restaurant, or big box stores you can imagine. Yet, it is located away from the hustle and bustle so you feel secluded in a beautiful garden.
Newly remodeled. Place is clean and has the feel of a high-end condo complex rather than a hotel. Nice pool area as well as basketball and Tennis Courts. There is a really nice golf course on the property as well everything but the golf is free
I'm new to the area. I played 18 holes with a friend and enjoyed lunch at the clubhouse. I was greeted by friendly staff and guests. The prices were affordable. The course itself was beautiful. Fun to play. Very forgiving. Can't wait to play again.
We really loved this resort/hotel. The pool was big and everything was well maintained. Service was great as well. However we found two scorpions within a few hours in it room. We got a new room and they said they will bring in a pest control crew to get the room sprayed. Our kids were walking around with no shoes and they could have gotten stung. But since we changed rooms everything has been great.
We will definitely go back to the resort. We stayed in the 1 bedroom condo with full kitchen and it was awesome. The bed is incredible, that's the first time in years that I have woke up without a sore back. Love that there is a washer and dryer in the room, saved me from doing laundry at home. The staff at the front desk was really nice, when it came to the men. For some reason I didn't get as friendly service with the 2 women I dealt with a couple of times. I had to go back down to extend our stay by 1 night because we loved it there. Had great views of the golf course. Pool was nice and good temp. They have happy hour have descent priced drinks at the pool bar! Will definitely go back.
This is a beautiful resort. The rooms are designed so elegant and spacious and practical. They have every amenity in the room and on the grounds that a family needs. It's like your own home. They accommodated us on our request of our view and closeness to the pool A+ in that department. My only complaint is that if you are bringing a family that likes to use the pool and hot tub, this resort can close it on a dime and then make excuses and not reopen it. They closed it one afternoon b/c they said lightening was near(although it was way off in the distance behind south mountain). Many hours after lightening in the distance was gone, and the sky was completely clear, they made excuses not to open the pool and hot tubs for the evening. They forget that many families come to resorts to primarily use the pool area and they have forgotten this part of the important hospitality of a resort and how important to families this is. They would have gotten 5 stars from us if they would have valued the importance of the pool/hot tub use as much as families do.
We had a long drive from Long Beach, CA to Phoenix, AZ and was randomly looking around for a quick night to stay. We chose Legacy Golf Resort and now we definitely want to go back! It was a short stay but very accommodating and super friendly staff even though it was extremely late.
I very nice, well-groomed, challenging golf course in the southeast valley. I was invited to join a foursome at the member rates!!! I couldn't tell you the rack rate for a public tee time!! Gotta be expensive though. This is a member-available golf course with residential properties surrounding the course. The service is the type of service expected at a top-tier golf course. I look forward to being a guest again!!!
The Legacy was the perfect venue for our wedding! The package that the Legacy provided us made all of our wedding planning simple. There were many packages to chooses from. The packages included almost every we needed and they were customization as well to better fit our budget. The wedding coordinators, specifically Kelli and Britt, were as accommodation as they come and they were willing to make any happen for our wedding to be perfect. The venue was beautiful and every one of our guests enjoyed the evening.
We got to stay 2 nights in the hotel as a part of our wedding package. The room was AMAZING! Such a beautiful space! It was perfect as a bridal suite for before the wedding and it was great to return to the room after that long night of dancing. I can't wait to return again as a guest!
Enjoyable room and pleasant overnight stay. We checked in late, around midnight, and the front desk guy was super nice and accommodating. They also gave us a ride to our room in a sweet golf cart limo. That was fun.
I suppose if one was there for the golf that this resort would warrant 4-5 stars. The property is beautiful, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the wedding and reception we were there to attend was gorgeous. The rooms are average at best, the water in the bathroom didn't get very hot, the bed wasn't very comfortable and there is no room service. Since I'm not a golfer I doubt I will go back
