Everyone is very friendly and you are seen pretty quickly, I've always had luck making same day appointments when my child was sick. I feel confident in the care my child receives and I always recommend Lawrence Pediatrics to friends!

I wanted to update my review:
After being with this same practice for about 6 years, I still love it here. They take great care of my kids and really give guidance without being pushy. The office staff is wonderful and always kind. I enjoy taking my kids here, it is a pleasant experience for everyone.
Love all the providers here. I always get seen at our appointment time with no wait. The doctors are thorough and have simple solutions and really want to know what you as a parent have for input in your child’s care. The nurses are so sweet and are really comforting when your child needs shots. I like this practice, because I don’t get lost in the shuffle.

We love everything about this practice! From the amazing front office staff to the nurses and all the doctors, everyone here is so knowledgeable, kind, and caring! My kid hated going to the doctor until we switched practices! Now he looks forward to seeing his favorite gals at check-in and even gets disappointed when we have to wait a few days for our scheduled appointment (true story. I told him his checkup is a few days away and he pouted because he wanted to go right then). We love Lawrence Pediatrics and you will, too!

My family LOVES Lawrence Pediatrics! They've given the best care to our three children. They are prompt, courteous and so very kind. The front desk staff, nursing team and care providers are all wonderful and treat my kids like VIP patients every single visit!

Re-posting this because it no longer shows up. Google used to call the doctors office I worked for and ask if we wanted to pay to have negative reviews removed which Lawrence Pediatrics obviously did. There were several reviews when I posted this a year ago that said this exact same thing and they have all been removed.

I want to start by saying that I worked in healthcare for 8 years and I loved our patients. But here, they have a whole slew of policies that in a normal setting are there to protect the doctor's time and the practices bottom line but aren't typically an end-all be-all for providers who care about human beings and the human condition. Like why would you want a provider that didnt personally care for you and your family?

We have been coming here for years and have three children. At some point in the beginning we missed an appointment and coming from healthcare setting I know that is a major no-no but life happens and I felt awful. Then a couple years later, my then youngest seems to be on the fence so I call about 15 min before they stop taking calls and ask if they have anything the next day. They do but its early and I am unsure if I can leave work that soon to get her in. I know not canceling 24 hours in advance is considered a NO SHOW so I ask if this will count against me. She is super polite and says no, they probably wouldnt have filled it otherwise and I agree to take the appointment. The next morning my coworker is running behind and I can't leave work. I call right when they open and cancel and let them know I am going to get her into the walk in clinic. Again, super polite and no problem. 5 days later, I get this passive-aggressive letter. And yeseven a standard letter can be passive aggressive. You are avoiding confrontation while citing a volatile policy of billing patients for visits they did not have. So I call, upset about this and it doesn't matter. They proceed to try and bill me and put a strike or whatever against us.

So now, years and another baby later my husband who works nights takes our 7 month old son in to get a flu shot and well baby visit. They give him several shots and apparently they needed to give him another flu booster at a later time so they schedule him a month out only my husband doesn't tell me or get the visit in his phone. My sons appointment is missed and sure enough that is it. I found out today when I took my daughter in for an emergency visit that we were no longer welcome but they would see her out of the goodness of their hearts. But the law says they may be liable for turning away emergency appointments so again, just the bare minimum is what they are willing to offer.

Anyway, if you want an impersonal doctor/staff that hides behind policies then this is your place. We honestly started going there for Dr. Evan's but they always stick you with a practitioner so same billing to see not-the-doctor. Then we fell in love with the pre-exam nursing staff and to this day they are amazing. We met Dr. Jacobs with my son and really liked her but you could tell she was not prepared to see an upset mom who was just discharged. Instead of compassion, she too just said they have a strict policy over and over like her hands were physically tied. Like that's as much as they care about their practiceenough to let a completely impersonal billing/scheduling department dictate everything they do and say.

Also, the comment about scheduling you at a certain time and then moving your time is real and I have proof should anyone message me! They wrote down 11:20 for our appointment and when we got there with our infant son, the same front desk girl said our appointment was actually at 11. I had my mom take a picture of the sticker on the calendar and text it to me and sure enough, in front desk girl's writing it said 11:20. They rattled off something about staggered well baby visits but after reading this other review, I feel like their own practices cause the late apts/cancellations/no shows they are so strict about!!
