I have received very prompt service when I called in because my kiddos were sick. On 3 occasions, my children were seen by their paed or a nurse practitioner on the same day. The nurses are very quick to return calls as well when I have a question. Dr. Jennifer is the best. Her bedside manner with the littles is amazing. I would definitely reccomend this practise.

Been patients for 13 years. The nurses are always so helpful when I call with questions. Appointments are fairly easy to get into. We love Doctor Martin, but have seen other doctors who we also like a lot.

I can not get over how much I love my daughters doctor. Dr. Brainard has been extremely helpful since the first time we seen him. Every concern and every question he has been able to answer. I even understand him, I do not get confused or leave their office with a misunderstanding to any question. I love how he likes to cross his T’s and dot his I’s. He checks so throughly for things and I can not appreciate him more. The nurses there have all been super nice as well, and very good with call backs. I know who I am going to if I ever have another child. I’m thankful for all that they do.

It's impossible to overstate how wonderful Dr. Brainard is. As a first-time mom, I am anxious about absolutely everything, and Dr. Brainard is calming, encouraging, and reassuring. I have cried at all three of our first appointments, and he has never made me feel embarrassed or ashamed. When I had concerns about my son's breathing, his office got me in within 15 minutes--no exaggeration. The entire staff truly cares about their patients and never make me feel like an annoyance--they are passionate about the health of their patients and the mental health of their patients' parents! We are so grateful for Dr. Brainard and the entire staff at Shawnee Mission Pediatrics!
