Front attendant was super sweet and informative. The rooms are clean and tidy with good cleaning services. Mini fridge is nice to have for longer stays. Overall one of the better Motels/Hotels I have stayed in over the past few years.

If you are sleeping nights this is an average place to stay. If you are a day sleeper then skip over this place. They have a policy that says they must clean your room every day and their housekeeping is there from 10am to 3:30pm. They will continually ring your phone and knock on your door regardless of the do not disturb sign and insist that you allow them in to clean. Skip the breakfast unless you want straight sugar for breakfast. Walk across the parking lot to Black Bear for a real breakfast.

People in front desk are courteous, rooms are clean and have amenities, the problem is that the place and all the suff in the room is too old and have this weird smell, gave me the sense I was in a 80's movie lol. No offense, my point is that for $20 dls more I could have stay in a nicer hotel with high speed internet that actually works.

I attended a brief meeting at the facility. I found the staff welcoming and personable. The facilities were clean and worked well for our needs.

Nice beds and linens. Nice host at check in. Pretty good continental breakfast. AC stopped during night. Very clean and good price. I liked everything but AC issue.

    Hairy sheets and unresponsive staff
I would not recommend this hotel at all. When I pulled back the bedspreads to get into bed, I discovered that the sheets were covered in what appeared to be back or chest hair. Covered. I called the front desk, but they seemed to doubt that I was even telling the truth. (I took video and pictures.) I was told that I could come down to the front desk to collect new sheets so that I could remake the bed myself, which is what we needed to do. The only other option was to change rooms, but all three kids were asleep at the time. The next morning at checkout I was told that the management was aware of the situation and would be contacting me later that day. I still hadn't heard from him after a few days so I called, but the manager refused to speak with me. I was told he was crediting me 10%, but when I asked to speak with him, I was told he "had other things to deal with."

Great customer service. My family stayed in a double queen room. Requested a day before a carpet floor room and got it. The next day person recalled my name and also helped get a rollover bed. Breakfast is good too. It was a wonderful visit.

I only saw the staff when I was checking in. My room was okay. Nothing special. No refrigerator or microwave. It was kind of like a motel 6. Room was clean. I think they should update room decor. Other than that it was an "okay" stay.

great location. clean rooms. but a little outdated interiors. old fashioned. no charfing points next to bed. the noisiest a/c in my room! for an overnight stay definitely a good choice comparing all the other pricey options around here.

Good location, price, and clean rooms. We stayed here due to the proximity to both Pinnacles National Park and Monterey. I would stay here again. Note: There are no microwaves in at least some of the rooms, so double check the amenities if you need one.

The Laurel Inn had recently undergone some renovations. The rooms have all been recently painted and updated. The hotel staff has been great, and the free breakfast is pretty good. If I was going to compare them to a big national chain, they would be most similar to a Holiday Inn express. This is our second visit in two years and I would easily recommend them.
