Cleaning staff were nice and the rooms were clean but the management attitude was terrible. They yell at you for staying in the office for too longcan't use microwave for more than 5mins can't change the settings on the toaster or pop the toast out early (toast came out burnt). Don't expect much for the price you pay. Wouldn't stay for more than 1 night.

So let's talk about the good, it's all ground floor so you don't have people stomping above or worry below. Air conditioner works well. TV has a lot of channels. Bathroom is spacious. So why the 1 star?
Manager was incredibly rude, an older lady, and obviously didn't care whether or not you stayed there. She spoke exactly from script with a monotone voice and don't pressure her with any question otherwise you'll get a snobby retort.
Not sure why they even serve breakfast, it's a dollar store pastry ( if you go in the evening you can see that they leave them there for the next person meaning they don't change em out ) and some Raisin Bran cereal. Just go out to eat.
High speed internet is a joke, I was buffering plenty when router strength was full.
Beds were uncomfortable, stiff- pillows felt like they had tough cotton balls in them, and blankets were itchy. Old bed springs that creak with every turn.
Showers were gross, they have a non slip pad that's definitely old looking and the shower pressure is poor.
The walls are thin and it's loud outside. You can hear the tv from adjacent rooms.
But hey, you get what you pay for? I payed 160ish with 20 for taxes totaling 780 dollars. Wait what? Is that right? That's not how that adds up right? Of course not, because this hotel charges the MAXIMUM DAMAGE COSTS as a temporary authorization. Takes 5 days average to drop off. I don't know about you but that's about 600 dollars I can't use because they use this bullshit policy.

The staff here are lovely and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable but the room is small, bed only ok and the water pressure of the shower is not great

Although the hotel itself was clean and felt nice enough. I felt ripped off for the price I paid. The breakfast is worthless and the area was noisy at night (I think there is a club near by).

Location of the place was easy to find. The rooms were nice, microwave would be a nice touch to the rooms. Service was good, would recommend to people.

Basic. Needed more blankets that cold night. Carpet in need of steam cleaning. Free breakfast, but it's in the foyer which only has 5 chairs. Still it's a roof over your head and away from the elements and there is a hot shower and bath. Be thankful it wasn't exorbitant. You get what you pay for.

Super 8 is conveniently located off highway 1 next to the Monterey Fairgrounds and the local airport is minutes away. I was warmly welcomed and surprised to find a newly remodeled room. Major kudos!
