No shampoo in the room, room was noy the cleanest, super loud construction workers late at night and st 5:30 in the morning yelling, racing engines, etc. The only breakfast was oranges and cereal. Not too long after checking in there were some of them sending a prostitute away and while yelling from the balcony. If I hadn't prepaid to get a better rate I would have turned around, asked for a refund, and went elsewhere.

The upgraded suit we ordered was exciting. That is till we got into the very cramped room that literally is to small for two adults let alone two adults and two infants. The bathroom was extremely dirty mildew all over and smelt horrible. Dust literally sat in a blanket over all the beds and the fridge had mildew everywhere. The medal container holding tissues literally had fungus growing all over it and the cleaning lady had to remove it. She used bleach and heavy duty chemicals in a non vented room no windows or fan in bathroom. There was food all over the floor and dead bugs all around. Several flys, moths mosquitos. The coffee maker was never wiped down from several uses and the sink handles would not turn from the amount of soup scum and mildew built up. The bedding was dirty and clearly not changed. Stains of god knows what with food still on the sheets was terrifying. I had two babies with me. The cleaning lady yelled at me when she first got into our room screaming “get out” and to “move”! I asked her her name 3 times in English then 2 times in Spanish. She refused to speak to me and identify herself after screaming at me. As if it was my fault that the room was in such dismay. The price we paid we got a full refund and alerted the health board of Monterey Bay and Expedia. The front desk offered us another suit for the issues we delt with but it was funny because when we checked in he informed us that there was no other because we requested 1st floor because two babies equals a double stroller and only stairs to get up. What a joke. Teja the front desk guy refused to give me the corporate phone number and any number for several minutes after I showed him pictures of what we had going on in the room. After 3/4 pics he refused to of the garbage that was in there. Don’t go here.

Took a while to get checked in. The room was cheaply price and it shows. When you turn on the A.C. the room gets very loud. Not sure why our A.C. unit was located near the restroom. Hopefully no one eats taco bell the night you need the A.C. on. Breakfast consist only of toast and muffin

This isn't a place i would ever stay again or would Ever recommend. Please don't waste your money. Not for a family or any good for kids. My family had the worst stay. The A/c did not work and it was the hottest time of the year. We asked to change rooms and the room we moved into still had a broken a/c. Loud area and thin walls DO NOT STAY HERE. I wish i read the reviews . Never again

The room we were in had a toilet that ran all night with constant flushes. We didn't mind it since we covered the back end with a towel. The owner was nice and the beds were comfortable. Overall it was not worth the money since the rate was very high this weekend.
There was a roach or beetle bug on the blinds as we were leaving. I dont mind it much since we did not know its existence till after we slept.
The staff was nice and somewhat understanding. Location and breakfast great. Overall the less than mediocre experience. Unless its the cheapest option find another place.

Very nice hotel, with a great location. We're close to everything. The only issue we've come across is the breakfast room is a little small. But we just took the kids to the hotel room to eat, so it worked out okay.

STAY AWAY!!!!!! This place is absolutely not for families. We checked in and went to out room and the music and people partying were so loud my husband called the front desk. He asked to be moved to another area and the man told my husband he didn't have anything else. We put everything back in the car and left immediately. This place is not safe. STAY AWAY!!!! I am not over exaggerating

Basic and cheap accommodation. About a 10 minute uber ride to Peter B's brewery and other nice water holes around Monterey. They provide a continental breakfast which is basically junk sugar foods. Make your own waffles were the highlight. They weren't blue (see blue waffle for reference).

The room was spacious. Bed was super comfortable. We got the 1 king size bed it even had a nice fire place. Breakfast was included but could have a little more besides waffles, cereal, oatmeal, or toast. We checked in late but was worth it.
