Good old fashioned "Greasy Spoon", the food is good as long as you don't think about who made it or the conditions it was made in. It's always tasty, and you will get a great bargain for the money. I eat here twice a month.

Order the cheeseburger special for lunch. You'll definitely be full, even if you can't finish the entire thing. AWESOME TASTING CHEESEBURGERS & MEATLOAF. BREAKFASTS, BISCUITS & GRAVY, BACON, MMMMMMMMM.. You will not regret ordering any of it. For a small establishment, this place serves food like a big time restaurant!!

The place looks nasty but I gotta give it to them, they have the best food in town for the best price! While you’re there, don’t be surprised if you see a drug deal or two going down in the parking lot. If you have not tried it before then you really should take the chance. Hell even a judgemental ass like myself tried it and now I can’t wait to go back! They would get 5 stars but the cleanliness doesn’t allow that!

This has station has more then gas. Larry's short stop has a variety of food customers can pick, cheapest place for gas and the cigarettes are cheap! If you live in Topeka Kansas or traveling through get off the turnpike on the south exit and take the immediate right then at the light turn left and on the right side you will see Larry's short stop. Palmal pack costs $4.75 a pack and the gonzo plate is a great plate of food for truckers or normal car travels. Will add a video soon to show vistors how to get there.

I don't think I've ever had bad food here. In fact the cheese burgers, and chicken strips, are probably the best in town. It's not the cleanest place, but you are buying food at a gas station.

Stood at the food counter for well over 5 minutes while 2 female employees talked back and forth and looked at me several times. They completely ignored me when I was patiently waiting to order food. I tried to tell her I wanted to order and was ignored still. Finally I walked away and went to see what my fiance was getting at the other end of the store. When I walked back one of the ladies asked "oh did you need something, I said no I'm good." Really! To be completely ignored and when I walk away then you wanna ask If I wanted something. If I hadn't already gotten a fountain drink I wouldn't have purchased anything. I've been to Larry's many, many times but I won't be back if that's the kind of customer service they are going to offer. The sad part is they weren't even busy. Just plain rude, disrespectful and poor customer service. I'll spend my money elsewhere, sad you get better service from the bigger chain stores than you do a locally owned store. To top it off their fountain drink machine looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months, if ever. Gross, probably lucky they were rude and I didn't order food. The need a visit for health code inspections, don't see how they would pass.

Like the food but quit being so stingy with the barbecue sauce! Two 4DF meals and a large order of gizzard's needs more than just the two half full containers that you are willing to give up. Just two for that much food? You should be ashamed. Gotta buy any extra! Your barbecue sauce is supposedly house made and giving customers more than 2 half full containers isn't going to run you broke! You don't see McDonald's charging for more ketchup do you?

Just spent almost 6 dollars on 5 chicken strips that was hard as a rock i purchesed them for my 3yr old im glad it was my tooth that chipped and not hers.
Ive worked in the food industry for 8yrs them strips had to of been over two hours old. I will never return and I will not recommend this place to anyone for deli food. Ill stick to giving the big industry's like walmart deli my money.

Great gas prices usually cheapest in town and it's non ethanol. They also have good food surprisingly. So why only 3 stars service can sometimes be slow and place is run down needs some updating.

I love the food and the prices are very reasonable. Might not be the healthiest thing to eat but tastes good and it's cheap. Works for me. If you've never been there the barbecue sauce goes with almost anything that could be dipped. Even the burritos. Trust me.

Awesome food, especially the breakfast. I usually get a order of "Gonzo" with gravy on it. I eat there probably 4 times a month, always good food going in and good 'stuff' going out! Who can say that about some of the mass production places?

It's a great place to work and the food is great tasting and low in cost to other places. You may have to wait in line both at deli and register but seriouslyit's worth it. Who wants to eat at a place that isn't busy?? You want to go someplace that people go to often and have been eating here for years.
