Beds and rooms are very comfortable, and the staff were very nice. That said, dining options are overpriced for the quality, and the amenities (especially in the wintertime) made me question the $32/night resort charge. We may return, but likely in large part due to lack of any other similar properties in the area.

There was a cockroach who joined us for drinks at the bar! Seriously, it walked across napkins and the server smashed it quickly when e repointed it out, but left the napkins!!! So wonderfully sanitary! Also very dated look: hard to believe this place want built in the 1980s.

I was there for a wedding and the rooms, food, service, and amenities we're amazing. The location is stunning. I greatly enjoyed the drinks at the cotton and rye restaurant.

The rooms were comfortable and so was the bed. the complimentary coffee was wonderful. That's where my good comments conclude. I called and made reservations and explained what type of rooms I needed and that we had two dogs coming with us. I called the morning of check in and requested an early check in; of the three rooms I rented for two nights, only one was available on Friday afternoon. When we arrived they claimed to not know that we had dogs as they only have one floor for pets (which is not what I'd call pet friendly). Instead of giving us a room with double beds, all three rooms had king beds. This was a problem for the one room that was being shared. The other guests that were there for my son's wedding also couldn't get in their rooms early and were also given king beds when they had requested doubles. One family was re-issued a room only to find the second room also had a king bed. One of our guests requested food at the bar and after paying a small fortune, the food was terrible. They did receive a refund after complaining. My husband & I went to the bar and ordered one glass of cabernet wine and one bottled beer, the tab was $30.00, sorry but that's excessive. My brother ordered a burger and an iced tea from room service and was billed $30.00. On Saturday October 7th, we had four shuttles picking up guests at the hotel but the valet service couldn't tell us which shuttles were for our party and which were for other parties. They should have been handling that the minute the shuttle pulled up and then made an announcement in the lobby announcing who the shuttle was there for. Pretty sloppy service if you ask me. I wont' go back

Stayed there for the weekend for a family wedding. Excellent accommodations . My room was clean, spacious , modern and very comfortable.. The staff were very friendly, professional and available for any requests. The grounds are beautiful, gorgeous scenery; living in Florida it was nice to see the mountains !

Had a massage, it was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities were nice and clean. The only issue I had, small one, is that the locker buttons don't work very well, they alternate between too sensitive or sometimes unresponsive, probably should be replaced/fixed. Generally, for a massage, I'd recommend it.

the resort was a nice gettaway, the pools were nice but over crowded at times, with not enough chairs. the rooms were a bit small for your amount of money you send. the spa was relaxing but not worth the cost.
the food there was a 6-10 at best, and there is not much to do other than golf and ride bikes, which you have to pay for. i probably would not come back here again, the area was beautiful on a positive note

My husband gifted me with massage and facial sessions. Everything started on time and the therapists were excellent. Will come back! One suggestion is to have the person who receives you show you the facilities and what you can use before your treatments begin.

This place is first class from the moment you enter until you leave. The food, service and atmosphere makes it incredibly enjoyable. I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful resort. Have attended two different wedding at the resort and have thoroughly enjoyed both. Staff is friendly food was good and the ballrooms and grounds are beautiful. Not sure Scott price of holding an event there but what I hear is it's extremely expensive. Overall though I enjoy it every time I visit.

Just came for a conference, so I cannot comment on the rooms, but the set up for the conference is amazing. There is plenty of space, you don't feel like you are on top of each other. The snacks and food has also been wonderful. Customer serve is top notch.

The reservation process was great. They sent me text messages about my reservation and asked if there was anything special I wanted. It seemed that there was a real human behind the text messages. They also asked (and granted) a few things like a high floor, away from the elevator, and early check-in. They texted me when my room was ready. Great idea for a hotel and fantastic communication. The room was nice and clean but a bit overpriced for a Saturday night at $267 (including their $32 "resort fee" and the 14% tax). We only used the room, so the "resort fee" seemed a bit excessive to me for things I never even used. The walls were thinner than I would expect from a high end hotel and we could hear the casual conversation of the people in the room next to us. Overall a great hotel and a great experience but not worth it for the price I paid. Not using any amenities at the resort, I feel like the room was more of a $150/night room instead of the price I paid. I'd stay here again, but only if the price was much lower.
