This place is awesome. First time here. Very clean, lake for fishing, very clean restrooms and the people are very nice. Highly recommend
Took the kids here for Spring Break and loved it. A gem in the desert. The fishing was great and the area was very clean and tidy. Most of the staff were super friendly and accomadating. The showers were pretty good (could use a curtain since water goes everywhere), but since ours in the trailer is so small, I am glad these were easily accessible. Laundry facility was good too. No complaints at all. We will definitely go back. Not too far from Vegas and there is a Walmart, restaurants/fast food and bowling within a 15 minute drive. 👍👍
Really nice and friendly staff. Gas station has air, water, diesel and propane, both fill station and bottle exchange. Inside variety of goods fresh veggies even. Good grocery selection. Creative decor.
It's been a long time since we've been there. I don't think we will be going back there for quite some time. It's just not the same as it used to be. We do have fond memories of taking mom there.
This place is great, and Clean. Restrooms and showers well kept. Friendly people. Security drives around all night. Only problem was parking. Spots are big but we have a 37ft 5th wheel and couldn't park our truck in spot or next to like most spots. We parked horizontally in front and was told we couldn't park on the grass. Mind you there was only one tire that was touching what they called grass. There was grass at one time but not now. So we had to park up the hill. Don't really like that. Overt all great tome and place.
I eat here occasionally, pretty good food, I usually go on prime rib days. We play here every now and then, so far, not too bad. I miss the Terrible's touch, but it's still a nice stop on my way home
Won $10 off of $1! Lol
Had all-you-can-eat shrimp with the salad bar for dinner. Whoever stocks up the salad bar must have been sleeping. 5pm, no lettuce or ranch dressing? The sweet and sour shrimp came in clumps. Even the fortune cookie was stale. By far the worst food experience in Pahrump so far. Wish we would have went to Terribles Roadhouse instead. Would not recommend.
Went to Lakeside about two weeks ago to try and grab a RV site and they were already filled up. The monthly rent is a little high in my opinion considering how far from town the park is, almost 7 miles to be exact. The lake is very nice and staff are friendly. Good security, they do rounds almost every hour. The sites are very small so you have to be extremely careful when backing your RV into the sites because there are so many trees around. You have to make sure your rig is parked just right before you deploy slide outs. Free electricity and free Wi Fi on standard sites. The lake front and water front sites are very expensive so those are only for people with a lot of money in my opinion. I would definitely consider moving to Lakeside if the right standard RV site opened up, there are a lot of trees and shade throughout the park. Paddles boats you can rent to go fishing in the lake, and there are a lot of ducks around. If I would change anything, they need better overflow parking, and bigger parking spaces at the RV sites. Especially for those of us that own more than one car. Overall very nice RV park.
The casino only has machine gaming, no table games. The restaurant is your standard meat and potatoes kind of place, but good. The RV park is pretty nice, a lot of restrictions and limitations. Pretty much can't do anything after 5pm, but it's not that big of a deal.
I have enjoyed Labor Day weekend here since we got our RV in 2012. Last year we noticed the grass dying, trees dying and it was just unkept. We still were making our reservations for the following year. All of a sudden they can not give us a reservation. Not because someone else got it first. So we didn't make reservations. My husband and I went back in June to look once more and make those reservations, thinking they may have cleaned it up and it was worse. I heard it was under new management. So very sad. The saddest part is, we were a group of 6-7 spots. Taking our business elsewhere.
It very family friendly. Their outside theater is awesome and the paddle boats are great for cruising around the lake.
this place is being allowed to deteriorate by the management. the pond is filthy with dead fish and birds floating at the surface and marsh growing around the edges. there is very little green grass. most of the grass has died, including the dog run. the sprinkler system appears to have no rhyme or reason for the direction they are pointed. they spray the dirt where the grass appears to have been dead long ago and the large rocks are receiving plenty of water. the sprinklers came on and srayed my clean truck and trailer. I was not able to exit my trailer because one srinkler srayed my front door while it was on. the concrete spaces were filled with duck feces. some of it appeared to have been relatively fresh and some appeared to have been there a long time. the power would dip and surge, causing my GFI to pop. there appears to be no care of the RV park for it's cleanliness and safety (dead fish and birds floating), inviting disease. I would not recommend this RV park to any one. I shall (NOT) return
Not sure why nobody seems to review the C A S I N O.only food & campground..isn't this a gambling establishment?
Ok so I played 4 different penny machines, and bet anywhere between .90 to 3.00. Within about $40 I hit several bonuses back to back & quickly built up about $200! Not to shabby!!
I tend to like to sit away from people & don't like getting "hawked" & noticed a couple doing it so I didn't stay long. Nothing big but the short time I played it appears to be a pretty darn good local hangout.
I am not driving into Vegas. the play in Pahrump is way better!
This casino is nice for the buffet style eaters All you can eat buffet for 5.99.. Can also add on certain nights fish or steak for a few more dollars.. The casino area is full of smokers
beautiful park. Lake in the middle with path to walk around. Lots of grass, birds, ducks & geese. Didn't use any of the facilities but the pool looked nice. Casino is just slots, smoky & nothing special
I love the RV park! Such a serene place! Try the breakfast in the casino- you won't be disappointed esp. since the prices are so reasonable. 😋
Food used to be better. Great staff.
MANAGEMENT: You need to clearly indicate the park security phone number in your pamphlet for when noisy & drunk dirt-bags are outside their RV until 2 o'clock in the morning pissing in the street. I tried multiple times to get anybody on the phone with zero luck. Your worthless security guy in the white van with the flashing yellow lights drove right passed them and did nothing. Also, you have WAY TOO MANY ducks & geese in your pond. The poop is everywhere. Yes, the ants are still a massive problem and the barking dog at night is completely offensive. Your mowing guys get WAY TOO CLOSE to RVs. Also, tell them to slow down and stop trying to squeeze into small spots between Rvs. We will not be back.
Beautiful park, last time we were here in May the staff was so friendly and they were very dog friendly and allowed our small dog corral and using the paddle boats was a breeze, but not this time, it's September and we were attacked by ants, couldn't even put a bowl of dog food down inside the motorhome, the woman in the store was rude and we were approached by the golf cart camping watchers and were told to take down the dog corral , as close and pretty as this park is I will not be back
I had such a blast hereThe lake, pool and the huge 🌳 trees and wandering walkways around the lake..Awe heaven on 🌎 earth. The most beautiful sky sprinkled with glittery stars. Wonderland at night. My new favorite chill
