So we booked the reservation last minute and spent 11 minutes on the phone with the agent and told him we were specifically staying here so my nephew could do the Shark Chute. He told us it was 35$ to do it otherwise. Well we get here the next day and it's closed for maintenance and had been when we booked the room. Such an incredibly disappointed 11year old. Went to the front desk and the agent at the front rolled her eyes and the agent I was telling. I wasn't even rude I just said that maybe the reservations dept should know. I'd never stay here again. To top it off my room smells like a sewer:

We stayed from 9-24 thru 9-28 & had a great time. Our room was clean & adequate. We were hoping for a more modern & better bathroom - tub had chips out of it & the shower head wasn't that good. But I will give it 4 stars because everything else was wonderful, including the staff. We usually go to Atlantic City but were glad to travel to travel to Fremont Street. Perhaps again in a few years - it's a long trip from Pa.

Best buffet we had during our time in Vegas! The buffet was better than Aria and TI which both cost more. Also, the drinks we had were really good and I believe the cheapest we found. We didn't stay here so I can't speak to the quality of the rooms, but for a place to eat and drink I can't recommend it enough!

Highly recommend going to the Golden Nugget. On the second floor is the buffet and if was very reasonably priced($15.99) for lunch. I had a mimosa and my boyfriend had a Bloody Mary, both were strong drinks and very good. The food was Amazing, nothing we had was dry or over cooked. It was all perfectly cooked, all the hot food was actually hot and the cold food was cold(not always as common as you would think for a buffet) .

Wow we had a great time in the pool area with the family. We were there for a family reunion and there was over 50 if us there. The waitress and the bartender in the pool area handled our group extremely well. They were very attentive and quick with our drink orders. Service was awesome! We all had breakfast in the buffet and the food was good. When we told the hostess that there was a Large group (30+) coming for breakfast and each family was paying separately and we wanted to sit together, they were not sure how to make that happen. But they eventually figured it out. They had plenty of space that was empty on one side with no one in it but they said they didn't have a server to put there So we waited another 20 minutes for them to figure it out. The cost of the buffet I felt was over priced for the food they served.

So at the urging of a coworker that has been here a bunch of times I decided on this visit to Vegas to try it out. I never cared for the trashy crowd that inhabit Fremont street but I was really surprised at how awesome the Nugget was. Upon checking in to the hotel me and my wife were upgraded to a suite in the Gold Tower. I had booked the cheaper Carson Tower on Orbitz and was blown away by this. I guess because we stayed during the week they did this. Who cares why it was awesome. We had the shark tank pool talked up to us and it was definitely really nice though it was really crowded. Especially children. The adults only pool was even more crowded and there were no free lounge chairs to sit on so we turned around and went back to the main pool. The room was clean, the restaurants were amazing and affordable and I would totally stay here again. The only downside was Fremont street. The crowd there is just the worst. We did make our way down to 'Therapy' and that restaurant was amazing.

Hotel was nice. Claim jumper restaurant was great, but the waiter spilled my wife's ice water all over her. They brought her a fresh meal since she had to leave and dry off, but I thought they would comp her meal. They didn't. The food was still good, but most places would have deducted her meal from the bill

First time in Vegas, and staying on Fremont was a great idea. The golden nugget is really nice, lots of restaurant options, a nice looking pool, and lots of drinks and gambling. On top of that as soon as you walk out onto Fremont street you've got street performers of all kinds, lots of boutiques, some decently priced souvenir shops, and plenty of places to get a drink. The only down side is that everything here is extra. No free coffee, no free wifi-or that I could figure out anywaybut beyond that its great! I mean I'm pretty easy to please though, so I can see why some of the other reviews might disagree. But as long as i got somewhere to keep my stuff and bed to sleep in after a day of adventuring i could care less about the other stuff.

The Golden Nugget is a classic Las Vegas casino. You cannot leave Vegas without stopping at Fremont Street and seeing the Golden Nugget. It is a classic backdrop to old Vegas and the colorful history that makes this city so unique. The Golden Nugget has lots of good food options and usually their minimums are fairly low. There is a surprising amount of things to see there; the shark tank pool slide (which was under maintenance when I visited in May of 2017), the Chocolate Box which has some of the best chocolate in Vegas, and the biggest golden nugget in the world! It is an awesome hotel and casino and I love to visit there.

Never had any intentions to stay here but my husband loves Fremont, so for our anniversary we got an upgrade to stay in the rush tower and what a delight
Close to the pool area, rush tower is newly renovated and our room was very cool. Over sized tub, mini fridge, sofa in your room!!
Rented a daybed for 100$ +50 drink minimum, which we do in an hour and enjoyed ALL DAY Saturday in the 21+ pool, loved it!
Outside bar is a great place to people watch
Had lunch at the buffet, skipped the line with our VIP pass. .AWESOME
Ate dinner and happy hour at Cadillacs (gave a separate review on their sight) went back for brunch and more drinks
We had a really great time enjoying their room, the pools, bars and eateries!
