The Fremont has a large casino floor with lots of video poker and slots. The Fremont is one of the few casinos left that has extremely low priced special meal offers for each day of the week. The Paradise Buffet is a good value too, as it's under 20 bucks and has a good selection of fresh food, including steak and good seafood on certain nights.

Because the Cal was booked, we were put into the Fremont Hotel also in downtown Las Vegas. One thing that was great is there is free valet parking, but please do remember to tip the valets! The rooms were smaller and did not have as many amenities as they have at the Cal, so I did make a mental note of that. Also, the food at the Cal is a lot better in quality and quantity and diversity. It is downtown and an older Hotel and they do try to make you comfortable but it's a far cry for me than being able to stay at the Cal. If you like being in the heart of downtown with the zip line superhero and other very glittery type of entertainment on the street then the Fremont could be for you. They do keep their rates reasonable so that's an added plus as well.

The environment here was different compared to the strip. I learned how to play Blackjack and the dealers were amazing. I enjoyed myself more here than anywhere else. I also loved the free entertainment that was happening outside of the casino. Will definitely return.

Just passed through and decided to grab a snack at Dunkin here. Parking wasn't busy, got in and out really quickly. I was also helped really quickly at the counter so that was awesome, even though they were out of sugar raised donuts. They had a good selection of everything else though, which is surprising because neighborhood locations run low on selection after awhile. But this location is open 24 hours so.. maybe that's why

Very disappointed, the pictures from the website compared to the actual rooms is a joke. The rooms are small, and very dirty. Front desk people were just going through the motions not very friendly. First hotel I've ever stayed at in Vegas with no swimming pool. The good thing is there is an awesome open swimming area within walking distance next to the Golden Nugget that is open to anyone. Have to pay for wifi, first time I've ran into that as well. On the positive side, the cleaning and hotel staff running around the hotel are very friendly. I didn't run across one who didn't take the time to say hi and ask how I was doing. The location is a good spot for downtown Vegas, plenty to do and eat all within walking distance.

One of the first casinos in Vegas. Rooms and bathrooms are a little small but keep in mind the age and history of the building. Free valet service, but it's always nice to tip. Casino floor is well equipped with gaming (I won $720.00 on megabucks) several cocktail bars or lounges. Dunk'in Donuts on the premises. Great floor cocktail service. Approximately 3 restaurants here with more at the Horseshoe casino right across the street. Lots of fun here. Once you park here -you're inside the casino floor, not like all the dead space and long walks from the parking lots of the casinos on the strip, plusthe slots at the Fremont are loose and allows one to play for decent lengths of time before you win, or lose. I've found that for the past 3-4 years the slots of the larger Strip casinos are as tight as knots and fail miserably at giving gamers even the tiniest returns with much less time on the machine. $20.00 on the Strip will most times give a gamer 20 continuous pulls with zero wins and last 2 minuteswhat fun is that!
Go to the Fremont and HAVE FUN.

Haven't stayed at the hotel yet but love the casino and their older style slot machines. The new ones are fun also but the older ones us seniors enjoy. The staff in the buffet is outstanding It's difficult to have to go by myself but they make me feel so welcome. And senior day is the best, makes one feel appreciated spending our time there. Thanks

Its like any other hotels/casinos. There's not much that differentiate it from other hotels to make it a 5 star location. It does have the cheapest buffet there, so that was nice. The staffs are also very nice as well. And of course they have the Fremont Mall which really isn't something too crazy to get excited about. Finally, the casino itself is very small so its pretty packed with people and sometimes, its hard to move whenever there's no room to move in. Overall, just another 4 star location that you can enjoy your time at.

They have a wonderful seafood buffet on Tuesdays and Fridays at The Paradise Buffet (after 4pm). All-you-can-eat King Crab Legs, clams, oysters on the half shell, shrimp, sushi and much much! So yummy! The service is great and the price is reasonable for everything you get! Loved it! Super friendly place to hang out and gamble/drink too. See you there!

We enjoyed our stay at the Fremont in downtown Las Vegas. We went with Vacations Hawaii charters, so food was included in the price of our stay. Enjoyed the location of the Fremont and being able to walk down Fremont St. Didn't get the "big win" but they have a good assortment of slot machines. Rooms are clean and more than adequate for a multi-day stay.

The hotel staff have been very warm and helpful. Very knowledgeable and ready to help. The room was clean and cooled for us upon arrival and all our special requests were met. Asked for a mini fridge and got one delivered up to the room in no more than 5 mins! So far, things are GREAT!

I was only at the Fremont Hotel and Casino for a few hours. I didnt stay in the rooms. I did however play some great $5 blackjack. They use 6 decks, and the dealers, at least the ones i met were great people. They helped new players out to learn the game and were just overall a great fun time. I will be going here rather than gambling on the strip in the future Please note they my 5 stars is strictly related to the casino part.

My sister and I was lucky and received a coupon for buy one get one free buffet meal. We decided to go on Wednesday. We took the bus downtown to Fremont. I love it there and prefer it to the strip. After a little sight seeing we went to the Fremont Hotel for our meal. The meal was not the best but I like the atmosphere, and the workers there. They are the best. After the meal we did little gambling and then headed home. Another pleasant dayin Vegas

For a Hotel & Casino that is over 50 years old the place is outstanding. Yes the rooms are not as large as some other places we have stayed but the fact that you cannot hear your neighbors at all was nice. We stayed there on 2 different occasions during our trip to Vegas and both experiences were identical. Everything worked well, the bathroom was clean and appropriate size for the room. We had a smoking room but it did not have a smoke smell. The staff was great to work with and the free valet parking was exceptional. Anyone that goes to Vegas that pays a Resort Fee at other places should check out the Fremont. Over all one of the best experiences we have every had at a Hotel Casino. We will stay here again next time we go to Vegas.
