They get an extra Star only because they are under construction and have additional people inside. night staff was cranky and rude. Slightly creepy. My wife thought someone was stalking her in the hall way. One random guy let himself into our room in the morning offering no explanation he said sorry, looked disappointed and then himself out Wouldn't choose to stay here again.

It was fine. Quite close to the airport. There is free shuttle to and from the airport. However, while you're at the airport you must damn near step in front of the van in order for them to stop. The hotel location is not in walking distance of any stores.

NO STAFF!!! They had one woman at the front desk on a saturday trying to check in about 30 people. We were told that a shuttle would pick us up from the airport and we called the hotel the phone constantly wrong and then when the woman picked up she said she was doing everything alone. I felt bad for her. By time we got there someone else did show up. The soda machine took my $2 which they did give back at the front desk. If you wanted towels or anything extra you had to come down to the lobby to get them yourself! This Is How understaffed they were. Never again!

Stayed here for one night while traveling, had a good experience, no complaints! Comfy bed, clean, and nice. Of course it's not the nicest hotel I've ever been to, but it was good, not too pricey, and met my expectations. Shuttle to the airport in the morning was on time and free.

The lobby was nice but the room was less than desirable. At the entry of the room there were stains on the carpet, the hotel claimed t/b 100% smoke free but the room smelled as if someone had been smoking in there. There were stains on the bed linen, too. I don't think we were there an hour before the power went out enabling some lighting, the tv, fridge & microwave. The power never came back on receptionist was during our stay at La Quinta.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! They really helped me and my two dogs out during hurricane Irma by providing us with a comfortable place to stay after the storm hit. Big thanks goes out to the manager (I wish I could remember her name) , Hector and Susy!

This place made me mad. In the beginning of my stay everything was great. Then I woke up and couldn't wait for breakfast, which was horrible. Coffee was like water, eggs had black yolk, milk had ice in it, and it took a hour to get a waffle. I went during the hurricane and I felt like the staff weren't here for me. They weren't reliable. They were very rude, unorganized. My pillow was so hard my necked hurt the next morning. If your trying to stay somewhere during a hurricane, do not stay here. They don't have back up generators. It was really hot here. I actually had my husband pick me up during the hurricane. That's how bad my experience is. 😞

First off I would like to start off by saying the staff was very nice! The hotel room(s) on the other hand… I was in room 316, and I was bitten by bed bugs. Bites on my legs, and back. I asked the front desk clerk to change my room he didn't have a room at the time I requested it, but he insisted I could get a new room the next morning which I did. I told the second clerk about my problems when I went the next morning to get the new room he told me that the exterminator was coming, and that the exterminator would send a report to the hotels email to let them know of any bugs in the room. Mosquito, ants, bed bugs, etc . He said if the report doesn't show bedbugs then that means I wasn't bitten here at the hotel, and that it is mosquito season. I informed him that it had to be in the room because the next morning I had woke up I hadn't left the room at all until 9pm at night, and I discovered the bites before I left the room to go out that night. I know a mosquito bite from a bed bug bite even though the bites are very similar to the eye! There were a lot little bity bugs crawling all over the sink in both rooms I even found one crawling in my bed when I showed the clerk the video I recorded he told me "oh that's just a ant". Ants or any type of other bug shouldn't be in the bed with me,period! I have pictures, and videos of this horrible experience. I was here on vacation, and couldn't even enjoy it!

After a long day and night of dealing with delayed and cancelled flights, I was happy to have found a room by the airport. Unfortunately, the morning staff were less than pleasant and borderline racist. When I went to get breakfast I was told there was nothing available accept juice and coffee by the staff who did not speak any English. When my fiance called the front desk to inquire about possibly getting some breakfast I was standing directly in front of the lady who, upon hanging up, made a very rude gesture at the phone and slurred an obvious derogatory comment directed at him. Five minutes later a family came up and said something in Spanish to the staff they went to the back swiftly and got them all food. I was floored at the blatant disregard toward all the non-hispanic guests looking for help and how all the staff ignored everyone accept the other Spanish speaking guests. I am mortified that this type of racism was directed at paying customers and in our own home country!! I will not ever be staying at another LaQuinta Inn. Sad.

Absolutely horrible .. and totally racist towards white Americans. We came down for breakfast and they said there are no longer serving breakfast, called front desk and the lady said come on down we will help you. The kitchen then again said no. Then a Spanish speaking family walked up right in front of us and they were like yeah here you go and even made them waffles.

Very clean and modern decor. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had 2 adjasent rooms on the 3rd floor. The airport shuttle was an added bonus since I had to pick my sister up and did not have to deal with the traffic or parking. The offer continental breakfast.

All of the staff are very Professional and go out of the way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are clean and they offer free shuttle service from the airport and to The Port of Miami for the Cruise Ships. Very satisfied Customer and Highly Recommended! I've stayed here 3 times
