Nice hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. They let me check in in the middle of the night so I could make it to a morning meeting in time. There were a few hiccups because of the renovations but nothing unbearable and the newly renovated room I stayed in was lovely so it was totally worth it. There was some hammering in the morning but you could tell they were hammering extra soft if I didn't already have to wake up I would've slept right through it - my jerky neighbors are way louder than that without even trying! I would definitely visit again especially if they slid me a few discounts here and there I'd go just to get away from home lol
This place was great. Nice rooms. Nice staff. The location was great as well. This hotel is definitely on my top 10 list of places to stay!😀
The front desk gave us keys that didn't work three times. It was late and we had an early flight. Otherwise the room was nice and the customer service was quick and friendly. I just wish they'd gotten our key right the first time.
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs. 2 nights. They were renovating rooms. We stayed in an unrenovated room. It was quiet and decent for the $100+ room rate. Breakfast was included. Eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, fruit, cereal, and more. Breakfast ended promptly at 10 am when the food was quickly taken away.
Parking was $20/day which is counted based on the number of nights. 2 nights = $40 in parking fees.
There is no formal dog relief area. I was told to walk them in the grass at the adjacent Taco Bell. No poop bags were provided. I brought my own.
The room had a comfy bed and small bathroom. The microwave and small fridge were very handy. No freezer compartment.
Overall a decent lodging value considering the alternatives in the area.
My favorite thing about the hotel is the no fee for bringing your furry loved ones along. This is the first hotel that I have had no pet fee and the room and hotel were accommodating for them. I would have knocked off a star for the paid parking and less than stellar AC unit but the free breakfast and internet made up for it. The room and furniture were all nice, decent, and very importantly clean.
All in all, a very good stay for a quality hotel at a nice price. The wieners liked the place as well :)
My dad and I had to stay at La Quinta with his two little dogs when my dad's house was being exterminated. I left for work too early to have the complimentary breakfast but found the food at the downstairs cafe to be well priced and very satisfactory. I kept the floor covered with plastic while we were there and assume that many other dog owners have done the same. However, i was please with the cleanliness of the room, despite their welcoming of pets. I wills stay there again next time we need to leave the house temporarily.
It is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly. The restaurant has really good food and they have 24 fresh coffee. The room has everything you need. Free wifi, microwave, refrigerator. The only complaint is that the name of the hotel is not prominent on the shuttle bus. They share with Holiday Inn and that is the hotel name on the shuttle. Once I called the hotel, they gave me the bus number. They also offered to reimburse me for a taxi if I missed the shuttle. I would recommend this hotel. And, while very close to LAX, you can't hear the airplanes. I would definitely stay here again.
Perfect hotel for a night before flying out or after arrival at LAX. Free shuttle service runs every half hour from/to all terminals. Decent breakfast. Hotel pool (open 9-22) to cool you down from a stressful travel. Bar and restaurant. Rooms are modern and clean and reasonable quiet. Enjoyed my stay.
Breakfast was good and kitchen staff was friendly. They charge you 20$ a day just to use their parking. You have to take 2 different elevators to get to your room. My shower head fell on my head while I was in the bathroom. Honestly never coming to another la quinta again. Especially for that price. I'll stick with the best western down the street.
Had a last minute trip and decided to stay at a hotel that I was familiar with. Room was fine except for the view of an abandoned apartment complex but other than that no problems whatsoever with our room. Location is right next to the freeway so easy to travel. Only negatives were the hallways having a bad smell to them and the $17 extra for parking.
We switched our stay from a very poor hotel at last minute and they were very accommodating throughout the process. The parking garage is safe and clean. The room was beautiful and extremely nice. They're newly renovated and very clean. We also enjoyed their free breakfast in the morning and it was so good. It's also a plus that there is A McDonald's 5 ft away from the hotel. It's a nice area and the staff is awesome. Definitely worth a stay if you're visiting.
I am writing this while still in our room. The front desk staff were very nice, and very helpful. I'd give them 5 stars. The room itself I'd give a 2.
Fine for 1 night but I wouldn't recommend any longer unless you get a better room than we have.
As soon as we walked in it smelled musty. We thought it was because the a/c wasn't on so we turned it on and left for dinner. Came back to a nice cool room, that still smelled musty! Smells like either the rug once got wet and now smells, or the air system itself needs cleaning.
The beds are nice. The bathroom has the toilet and bath/shower in a tiny room with no fan. The sink area and closet space was good.
Wish the continental breakfast opened at 5 instead of 6 as flights to the east coast leave early and you must get to the airport before 6.
The room was recently remodeled and was very nice. The staff were all so polite and helpful. I gave it only 4 because the bed needs replacing. But the price was right. The shuttle was great! Driver so helpful.
This will be our third stay in a month. This is a nice hotel and quiet for the most part. Checked in late the first time due to delayed flight and late the second time due to traffic driving from Las Vegas. Had a few issues but the staff was quick to solve them. I have spoken to pretty much the entire front desk staff and a few reservation agents and security and they have all been extremely helpful. The parking is low for Los Angeles and that is helpful when having to stay in hotels quite a bit. This trip we will get a chance to visit the pool since he weather is supposed to be nice. See you in a few days!
