The room was clean. Idk if it was hurricane damage or what but the entire building but my room had no dry wall, and it was being renovated. Staff and everyone was nice, and wouldn't mind going back for a night if I had to.

Recovering from the Hurricane so there's a little construction going on. The service and people are top notch.. Would definitely stay here again. Going to get fantastic when all the remodeling is complete

Not clean, my allergies are back as soon as I pass at least 2 hours in the room. By the way, never ask for the suite the sofa bed is probably 30 years old the mattress is dirty not good at all.
The lady at the reception was really nice though.
The continental breakfast is not that good either. Apple only as fruit??? Come on!!! Could give better

Would not stay here again
The good: 1) The pool and "lake" that is located outside of the hotel are actually very nice and picturesque. 2) It is near to everything, shopping, gas stations, movies, airport.
The bad: The air conditioning never really worked. This is South Florida people..an improperly working air condition is a Kiss of death. When I complained they sent up some random guy to turn the air down to 60. I still woke up in the middle of the night sweating bullets. The housekeeping staff takes their sweet time coming to clean and they don't do a great job. There were 3 people in my room and they left two washcloths?? Um.OK.
The ugly: My son and I woke up every day itching like crazy.so much so, I started checking the room for bed bugsI found one little bug and wrote it off as a tiny fly of some sort..after researching , I found out that it was a flea and our ankles are torn up from flea bites. We don't even own any pets, but this is a pet friendly hotel, so perhaps the last patron had a flea bitten dog. At any rate, If hotel management is reading this, you need to fumigate room 319 for fleas pronto. (Pictures below. The first is of my ankle, I tried desperate not to scratch) The other 3 are my son's legs and ankle. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. You might have better luck sleeping in the grass on the hotel's little lake, next to the Muscovy ducks!!response / report this review -

Well stocked and clean rooms, the breakfast is a little lack luster but the beds are comfortable and it is very peaceful. It's a bonus that it's pet friendly, though they wouldn't allow my dog in the lobby while I ate my food.

Very clean. Free breakfast and most importantly free parking for 14 days! Perfect for departing FLL airport with shuttle running to/from airport hourly

I booked this hotel because of the dog policy and accommodations. Upon checkin, I was informed that the room type I booked had a water issue. The staff member explained the situation very apologetically and offered a different room. The room was actually an upgrade to my original booking and the staff member adjusted the rate for my stay. The room was wonderful for what we needed. There was ample space to set up my 74 pound Boxer's crate and bedding. All the staff I encountered as I traversed the hotel were perfectly pleasant.

Unique architecture. 3 smoaking rooms, if you come early. Pet friendly. So far, clean enough for my pet allergies. You can hear yaping in the halls, but not in the rooms. Am stuck here by my employer. La Q is better than most.

Great location. Near airport and right on the water. Great looking property. Room was large and clean. Also had a fridge and microwave which is nice. The window in my room opened overlooking the pool, Jacuzzi, and a lake. Air conditioner worked great and temperature was nice and cool. On the downside, the shower was weak and breakfast did not have any hot protein such as eggs or bacon. The lobby was nice and has a spot to work with power outlets. Overall I was extremely pleased with the value.
