I liked the inside. It's not Hilton or Hyatt level but it's nice enough. Also there's no smoking.
I love La Quinta. They always have room. Dog friendly and breakfast is included. The king suite has plenty of space for our family. Front desk is very helpful #localguide
Good price for a decent room. It's nothing fancy.. but who cares right?!? It's a bed for a night
Room was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was central to all local attractions and restaurants. I would recommend staying at this location.
I used to like staying here with my kids. This stay, I stepped over used needles, and passed people smoking weed on the stairway multiple times. Not using my rewards to stay here ever again. Even the rooms next to the office have cigarette butts and paraphernalia everywhere. Customers throw trash in parking lot- where it sits until the wind blows it away. Room service is anywhere from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 pm if you're lucky. I have spent a lot of money at this location, but never again. Update- glad I gave it another shot. Definitely better on the last visit. I hope to keep coming back, this place is convenient for my work, and my kids like the pool in the summer!
If i could give this place a zero stars i would. First room had hair all over than second room had stains on the bed. They had said they gave me a refund. I checked three days after to be informed they didn't. I have called everyday since to find that the front desk says its the manager, manager refuses to respond. Still trying to get card refunded. This place shouldn't be allowed to run business like this.
I stay at hotels often for work so I am a little bit picky. Well, I Loved this hotel! Rooms are clean, bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable! Every staff member I interacted with was kind! The location was convenient. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in Denver!!
Be aware that not all rooms come with a microwave and mini fridge! I accidentally got a room without these things and expressed my concern and they were kind enough to bring in a spare set. Very friendly staff and relatively clean room. Comfortable stay and a good breakfast selection.
The location was convenient to a good amount of shopping and restaurants. The room was what you would expect, very clean but nothing to write home about. The included breakfast isn't worth it, usually if a hotel has a waffle maker those are at least a safe option, but the waffles here were bland. They offer muffins, bagels, fruit, hard boiled eggs and a few other things, unfortunately everything I tried was inedible (I didn't dare try the undated hard boiled eggs in the fridge). Our check-in to the room took over 2 hours (past the check-in time), because we requested 2 rooms next to each other, but they had no way to note that up front other than to let the front desk know the day of. Speaking of which, if you call the front desk and they actually pick up, consider yourself lucky, they weren't answering and didn't even have a voicemail box. Lastly, and probably the worst offense, they offer a crib rental for $10 a night, but they only have adult size sheets to put on the crib. This is extremely unsafe, and the staff didn't seem to care, they instructed us to tuck the extra sheet in under the crib. Bring your own crib sheets if you plan on renting a crib!
BE WARNED!!!! We needed a hotel/motel close to our house that allowed pets while having work done on our home. La Quinta Northglenn is pet friendly. Unfortunately, it also has cockroaches which I discovered when I turned on the bathroom light in the middle of the night to see three cockroaches scurrying out of the light. Needless to say, we removed ourselves and our pets early the next morning. I also explained to the front desk person why we were leaving a day early, and I was nice about it. Her response was to inform me that she would let the maintenance people know about it! We ended up staying at a very nice Marriott Suites hotel which was only $20.00 more a night. I will NEVER recommend La Quinta Northglenn, and I had to hire a pest control service just in case we had unwanted travelers in our luggage. A really bad experience!
Pretty dated place. Never felt completely safe here. Was worried about the car being broken into. Pool was convenient and staff was nice though.
We check in and the first thing I notice was lots of animal fur on the top of the bed, we removed that! After eating dinner I decided too lay down, my eyes started itching, I started sneezing and went into a full allergy attack. Turned all the lights on and noticed the hair was inn the bed as well, all over ever pillow. This was not a clean room, this was a remade bed. No towels in the bathroom or shampoos. The room got touched up but not cleaned. They however moved us to another room that was clean, but outside our door was 3 bags off stinky trash. If I had paid $60 for the room I'd understand a little more but they charge the price of the nice La Quintas and this is not one of them. Breakfast area a joke. Other than that the man at the Desk very friendly.
I asked for down stairs rooms when I booked the rooms and when arrived was put in a upstairs rooms. The lady at the check in didn't even look to see about a change, very short on being polite. "the gentleman was very nice. One room had a swimsuit still in the bathroom. The other room only had one plug in working it made it hard for the oxygen machine to be close by. the reason for asking for down stairs room.
It's been a wonderful 2 days here at La Quinta Inn Denver/Northglenn. Service here is top notch. The pool is nice, with towels pool side. No spa tho, only downside to this place.
As a frequent traveler, and one with big dogs, I do my share of dealing with less-than-friendly staff at places we stay. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that they say things outright. No, it’s the attitude you’re given – or not given by being completely ignored. Both are frustrating, to say the least. So, it’s awesome to come across someone like Amanda.
Amanda’s one of the Housekeeping Managers at La Quinta in Westminster, Colorado, and she’s a hotel guest’s dream come true. She’s friendly and courteous, she’s hospitable and kind, and, above all, she’s dedicated to making sure you – as the guest – are 100% comfortable during your stay.
That, all by itself, would be exceptional service, but Amanda goes a step beyond great to spectacular by catering to your happiness as well as your comfort. The woman brought our dogs treats for goodness sake! Not only did she win this hotel a return customer, and La Quinta huge points in our family’s eyes, but she made friends of my wife, my two dogs, and myself.
She made the hotel bill an afterthought and would have at twice the price. Thank you, Amanda. You made our stay one we’ll always remember fondly.
