Best hotel we've ever stayed in everyone was so accommodating to us and our family.. was even sent chocolate cover strawberries for our anniversary everyone was soooo pleasant from the desk to maintenance to the cooks and servers in the restaurant will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great family environment
My Husband and I give DoubleTree a 3 1/2 star rating. Let me start out with the positives of our two night stay. Fast check in, and were greeted with a cookie and bottled water. Our room was on the 3rd floor, with a pretty decent view. The room was clean, and stocked with everything we needed and then some. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating to our needs. Dinner was a nice experience, however, I think it's a bit overpriced.
As for the negatives, My husband and I reserved our room over the phone for two nights, and was told we would be billed a ONE time $50 deposit, when we got there we were charged for one night, to which they had to charge a second time for the second night, and was NOT told we would be charges $50 twice. The hot tub was lukewarm at best, and the elevators smelled of sewage. Overall: We had a decent stay, but would probably not stay here again.
Great people. And the driver Don is amazing one of the main reasons I choose here to stay from time to time. Love his stories.
Just remember to remind them to change to heat or cold. As it's a older building and sometimes they had it cold when you need it hot.
Wonderful hotel with a fantastic pool and hot tub. This place has fantastic staff and I was able to rent a conference room for a very competitive price. Absolutely wonderful customer service I would stay here again and again.
Clean recently remodeled hotel, with decent restaurant downstairs. Would give more stars, but the parking lot was a zoo, (completely full) the first night of my stay. I had to park a quarter mile away in a neighboring lot, the staff seemed unaware of the issue, and said they weren't aware of anything going on event wise. I am a black diamond member and none of my stays was I able to use the reserved parking spaces either (as they were full). I would imagine this is the exception and not the rule, but I can't say for sure. It was enough caution to consider staying again, even though everything else was great.
Had a good stay. Room was good. Location is ok. Have to do some walking to get anywhere. They do have a shuttle that will take you within the area.
The manager was a horrible rude person. I arrived at 1:00pm. They said check in was 3pm which is pretty standered if there’s no rooms cleaned. So I asked if she could call house keeping to see if there was a eta so I should know if I should wait around or leave my bags. She gave me a snotty look and said they can’t and I just have to wait for house keeping to call. Now mind you, she had a smirk on her face the whole time and clearly isn’t good with costumer service. I told her never mind, just please cancel my reservation. I was on hold with Hilton honors to make sure I didn’t get charged then I noticed people behind me so I stood about three feet from the side of the desk so she could assist other guest. As the next guest walked up she got close to me a waved her hand in my face and told me to leave. Very rude in my opinion. I told her I wasn’t finished but I was on hold because they wanted to talk to her about the issue and I just didn’t want to hold the line up. She continued to be rude waving her hand around in my face so I just left and walked towards the sitting area until she was finished with the guest and costumer service patiently waited on the phone for me. The manager was laughing when the unnone lady was aggressively waving her hand in my face. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life. I waited for the general manager but he was of no help. Very rude hotel
My only complaint is the amount of perfume/fragrance in the rooms. Excellent breakfasts, charged to the room, comfortable beds, good Colorado mountain drinking water. Internet coverage is good I don't like their policy of one device only, but most of my traffic is only through one device. Clean. Excellent sunrises on this side of the building (room 531 and other odd numbers).
We stayed in Westminster this weekend. Jackie was absolutely amazing! Very kind, hospitable and gave the best service. We bonded over the air force and she really gave a warm welcome. Loved the hotel, so clean and had a great updated modern vibe. Will definitely stay again.
Room was clean and neat. Chargers for phones available in room. Helpful staff. Quiet atmosphere. Comfortable bedding.
Older hotel that has been remodeled, it's a clean and fresh feeling hotel but there are definitely some corners that were cut during the remodel. My shower sprays the floor and there are some dubious plastered holes in the wall. Overall my stay has been pleasant and the severice has been great. Aside from some of the minor details I don't have any real complaints.
Really neat little hotel. Rooms are reasonably priced. They're a little smaller than I remember at other DoubleTree properties, but still decent, and moderately priced.
Room was nice, quiet hotel. The major downside for me was the dishonest staff. I realized I left something in the bathroom about 10 minutes after I checked out and couldn't turn around. I called the front desk who assured me no one had cleaned the room yet and that housekeeping would hold on to it for me and give me a phone call after the room had been cleaned. No phone call and "they couldn't find it." I had to call back 3 times, somehow no one wrote my cell down when they asked for a call back number. I'm thoroughly disappointed with the blantent lying and curt response of the director. Poor customer service. Make sure you don't forget anything otherwise you'll never see it again!
First I felt very judged by the ladies at the front desk. Acted like I was to low class or something. Then my room was freezing and the heater would not work. I was put in a handicap accessible room which had a roll in shower which was tiny. After my shower i stepped out to the entire bathroom floor covered in water because there were no drains. I mean the water made it out to the carpet in the hallway! The next morning my husband went to eat and found the staff clearly talking about him. He was dressed in his work clothes and once again being judged. This is no 4 star hotel and for sure no 5 star! We paid over $180 for one night and got treated like we stole it. Never again will I stay here and I would never recommend this place to a soul!
First, as with most all Doubletree hotels, fantastic cookies. Overall this was a good, relatively uneventful experience, breakfast was well appointed, upgrade at check-in (commensurate with my status in the Hilton loyalty program), and friendly staff. Only two detractors were the key that I mainly didn't use deactivated which was a quick fix. The second was the room got pretty hot in the morning and I'm thinking the AC was not able to keep up with the heavy sun morning. Overall still a great hotel and I would stay here again.
