The hotel has close access to several restaurants. Close to I-185. If you're staying their for access to Fort Benning, the welcome center is only 10 minutes away. Staying there your only a few minutes from the Peachtree mall. The stay isn't the greatest but the location is the best.

It was a cheap hotel.. The bathroom was pretty dirty. I don't even think they cleaned the tub before we got there

When I checked in they had a company steam-cleaning the carpets, which wasn't a problem until I was about to take a shower and a guy from this company tried to open the door to my room, without even knocking first. I went to call the front desk about it, but when I picked up the brochure next to the phone I noticed there was food dried and crusted on the back of the brochure. Then I turned around and saw this little purple hairbrush, with hair still hanging off of it, hanging out under the corner of the bed. That was it for me. I repacked my stuff, walked back to the front desk, and requested a different room. I don't remember the lady's name, but she was wonderful. She changed my room and took $10 off my room for me. 5 🌟 for her customer service, but only 1 🌟 for the rest of it.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I chose the hotel because of the price, but I'd rather spend another $20 a night and go anywhere else besides this hotel. I had booked a king non-smoking room. I arrived to check-in and the lady behind the desk informed me that the house keeper left sick for the day and my room would not be cleaned. So I asked what she was going to do since I already had a reservation. She said they had a king in a smoking room. I told her I'd prefer a non-smoking room because smoke gives me allergy attacks. She told me that she understood, but the only room from the price range that I booked with was the smoking room. I told her that I'd be fine with getting any priced room in a non-smoking area, and she told me it wasn't possible. So she offered to take me to go smell the smoking room, since it was the only room I could have. I agreed. The smell was bad. But I just said I'd take it since I was tired and I'd only be there one night. I left my bags in the room and went to eat. I came back, and went to lie in the bed, and there were hairs everywhere. Every single sheet and blanket was covered in hair. So the sheets and blankets do not get washed regularly. The floor was not vacuumed. I requested sheets be sent to my room. They did bring new sheets, but no blankets. I just decided to deal with it and slept in sheets. The shower had definitely not been cleaned. Honestly, I didn't trust that anything had been washed or cleaned in days. Half of the outlets didn't work. It was just bad. I will never stay here again. I felt sick the next day from the smell, and was thankful to be out of there.

This was the worst "hotel" I have ever been too! The pictures on the website look way nicer than what the hotel actually looks like.. I feel disappointed and deceived , I would not recommend for the facts that; The carpets were filthy, the bathrooms had mold and grim on the ceiling and on the floor, the shower curtains had mold, the doors and walls where filthy with dark hand markings, the towels looked dirty, the doors were not sealed correctly so anything could just crawl in from outside, you can hear everything, people from under you, on the side, every bang and knock, and the rooms smelled like urine!! I found pizza in the mini fridge which I didn't even have pizza at all and I found it in there the second day of staying! It wasn't there the first day my sister in law had $40 stolen from her bag (which she had covered with clothes just in case she can see if someone touched it or not), when she came back her clothes where removed off the bag and $40 missing! They also took their towels and never replaced them my parents 2 doors down had a do not disturb sign on the door and house keeping still went into their room, only fixed one bed, took all the towels and didn't replace them, also didn't take the trash out either the pool was closed for the season and which I never heard of a pool being closed in Georgia for the season. The reason why "The children went back to school".. I'll never ever want to recommend this place, not even for a day unless you are okay with your property being stolen and sleeping, bathing, lounging in filth..

Some of the staff was nice. Older hotel so no elevator. They put my elderly mother on second floor when we explained it was too hard for her to walk up and down the stairs; they said they could not relocate her until the next day because the computers were not working. Our toilet didn't work so we had to be moved into a room that the tv and air didn't work well. My parents room had several bugs. We will not stay again 😞

Ok, it is an older hotel and a room on the south side gets plenty of road noise. All that said, their helpful staff makes up for any physical shortcomings. In particular the lady named Precious at the desk was extremely customer service oriented. That plus the La Quinta standard of pets really welcome with no added fee keeps us coming back to this chain.

Everyone was exceptional nice. The rooms were clean. Bathroom kinda small but still clean place. Pool was right by our room. That was ok. Not a lot of sound carried. Right off the highway. Easy access to shopping if you like that.

Pretty nice. Got a pool, breakfast, Pantene brand shampoo. Beds and pillows are soft and workers are nice. They even allow pets as long as you sign an agreement of responsibility! Free wifi and tv but no fridge is standard. It's good

Went for son's graduation at Ft. Benning and arrived pretty late so too exhausted to try and cancel & get a refund. At first glance the room appeared "okay" at best. After looking around it was clearly dirty. The carpet looked like it was vacuumed near the entrance but no farther inside. The worst area was near the sink. So much junk everywhere on the floor. The shower was absolutely disgusting. We had a non-smoking room but it looked like someone dumped an ashtray all over the bottom. It wasn't just a few specks, there was enough there that housekeeping either did it and forgot to clean it out or they did not even look in the shower to attempt to clean it. GROSS was the condition of our room. They knocked off $10. If this were a typical vaca we would never have stayed but our time with our son was valuable so we stayed and spent little time there except to sleep. Hubby scrubbed the shower out.

I feel LaQuinta is a great hotel for travel with a pet. They don’t charge extra for a pet and most are very nice. They are usually upscale, clean and secure. The only ones I have had issues with are the one that were originally motels and were bought out. I dont like room doors that open to the outside like motels.

We got a non smoking room but it smelled like stale cigarettes, there were bugs everywhere. Had a tick in the bathroom and a spider fell out of my bath towel and almost landed on me. There isn't a mini fridge or microwave so if you have food or leftovers don't bother. The wall had holes and cracks in it and the floors left the bottom of my feet black. Dirty dirty dirty

Tawana at the front desk is amazing! All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Bed is a firm but not stiff. Plenty of pillows. Reclining chair in the room is nice, so is the desk and office chair. Vanity is separate from shower and toilet. Bathroom itself is a bit cramped but it's clean and has great water pressure. TV is a good size, gets about 30 channels including showtime, Disney, and cartoon network. Pet friendly is always a huge deal for us - no charge for pets. Breakfast was a little lacking but they had waffles which makes my husband and daughter happy :) They also have a military specific awards program now which is very thoughtful.
