Great location. Close to shopping, restaurants and the base. Great have a restaurant and bar attached. Rooms are always clean and staff always nice. Price is good for the area and level of service.

Very friendly staff there. They always say good morning and thank you for staying with us. The breakfast is good over at Houlihans, dinner is great as well. Wi-Fi is very good as I never experienced any issues. My favorite part of the hotel is in the evening around 5pm they visit each room and knock to see if you would like one of their famous double chocolate chip cookies, and they have single servings of milk to go with it! How awesome is that!

It was a very nice stay. The staff are extremely nice, and the rooms are more than adequate. Houlian's, the attached restaurant, was a great place to have both breakfast and dinner! I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in room 210 and the king size bed was terrible. There was a huge dip in the center of the mattress and it hurt my back to "sleep" in, the short time I was actually able to sleep due to the discomfort. A/C was a bit wonky as well and didn't want to stay on cool the first night. Got it working properly after some fiddling.

Overall the hotel is nice. Very clean and friendly staff. Just weird little things. Not enough towels in the room. No hooks to hang towels. Difficult shower to maneuver but every hotel is different. It would be handy to have something to go for breakfast in the morning. My friend hated the pillows but i liked them. Area is not the best but we felt safe.

I've been a Hilton rewards member for years because i've never had a bad stay. The folks at the DoubleTree got us situated quickly and the pool looked really njce (it was 94 degrees, so that may have been a factor). We had to check out well before breakfast, but one of the morning crew ducked into the kitchen and made us coffee to go. That's awesome customer service. The rooms (Mine was on the 5th floor) had some bubbles in the popcorn ceiling and the wood trim around the hotel is a little beat, but still a darn fine room and reasonably priced.

We at ate the Houlihans restaurant located in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and we were promptly seated. The food was excellent and delivered in a timely manner. Overall a great experience.

Staff was very friendly at check-in. However, when I spoke with them about a safety concern, they said they knew and that it was done to keep people out of a private function. (Fire hazard, see pictures: a very crowded party was taking place in the hotel ballroom and the party had zip-tied three doors closed to prevent outside guests from walking in.) The disregard of a blatant fire code violation was very upsetting.
Also, the bed frame stuck out into the walking space in the room. It was cumbersome to walk around and I ran into it with my ankle during the night.
I honestly would not recommend staying here. The staff was friendly, but completely unconcerned with safety. Hotel furnishings were dated.response / report this review -

Definitely does not live up to the DoubleTree name. It looks like they got halfway through a renovation and then stopped, almost everything is beyond dated and passed into worn out.
During our stay an event was being hosted in their ballroom and their lobby. It was the opposite of inviting being forced to be part of the party. Because the event wanted everyone going in and out through a certain set of doors, they ziptied the other exits closed. There is no way that zip tying exits doors passes fire code. I alerted the front desk and they did not care. The young man shrugged with a smirk and turned away. The other two front desk employees stifled laughter at my concern.
The event's bouncer noticed me pointing towards his party and asked what was wrong, I told him about the zip tied exits, he actually cared and realized the danger.
The remodel needs to be finished (or really, started over) and the staff needs some serious retraining. Until that happens, avoid this property.response / report this review -

I have to say my family and I truly enjoyed our 3 night stay. From the housekeepers to managers everyone was truly friendly and professional. The restaurant on the grounds was fantastic! We ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all three times the staff and food was great! We will definitely return.

Great experience! The staff members were all very helpful and courteous. The shuttle was a bonus for usthanks, Jesse, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast bar provided a wonderful selection, and the cookies are delicious!
