A great place to stay. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the mattress wasn't very soft for such a nice hotel. Other than that it was great.
One of the nicest hotels in Alabama, definitely the best in the Auburn area. The hotel is well decorated and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely too!
Love this place. The people there are all about making sure you have everything you need. Had a 16th birthday there
As a Marriott Platinum member I can easily say my experience with this hotel is the worst I have ever had across any brand. To save you the trouble of reading further just rest easy knowing there are assuredly better hotel options anywhere you look. I only continue because my attempts to communicate with the hotel have been almost entirely fruitless. I stayed at Grand National at the end of September. When I arrived they could not locate two of my reservation despite me showing them the reservations in Marriott's live app and forwarding them email confirmations. After I left, I waited several days for an invoice or points. After receiving neither I called the hotel. Despite already charging my credit card nearly three thousand dollars for the stays, the informed me they had no record of my stays and would call me back later. I never received a call back. This took place two more times in the span of a week. Finally, on the third attempt, I said if there was no record of my stay that I would contest the charges with American Express. They somehow immediately found my invoice. After reviewing the invoice I found that they had charged me for nights on Marriott Points. They said they had already seen this and thought it was "weird". Ultimately they agreed this should be taken off. It has now been almost another week and the additional charges have yet to be taken off my card. What's more, after all of this, I have not received points for these stays. Much less any solace for the dozens of phone calls and emails I have had and written the hotel, Marriott Customer Care, and the Marriott Platinum Line trying to return to normalcy. If anyone made it through this whole review, I cannot stress this enough, find another hotel. Find any other hotel.
The facilities are wonderful. Pool and outdoor areas are great. The rooms have been updated but still feel a little dated. However, the bathrooms are large and even have nice tubs.
We visited here to meet up with family that live in the area. This was our 2nd time staying here. We love it! We spent most of our time in the pool area. It's a great area for kids of all ages to play safely. The pool temperature was perfect for the hot weather, finally a nice cool pool in the South. The room was very nice too, with a balcony that had great view, two super comfortable beds and the bathroom was very spa-like. We can't wait to stay here again in a couple of years.
Accommodations and facilities are lovely. Some of the staff are helpful but overall they are lacking customer service skills. We ate dinner at the outdoor restaurant "splash bar". The waitress was sweet but only came to our table twice. We waited for our bill. She never brought it. Since we charged it to the room we left thinking we didn't have to sign anything. They called the room at 11pm asking us to come sign the bill!!!!! Outrageous!! Woke us up for that!!!!
Beautiful hotel and surrounding area. I never knew Opelika had such a beautiful area!! The staff is very accommodating and has gone above and beyond to make sure our stay has been perfect. I look forward to our next visit!
Went there for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Nice dining area. Really enjoyed the food.
I attended a banquet for my pastor here. It was great. The service was awesome. The chicken and rice was good. The coffee was good. They need to add more lighting in the parking lot. It was kind of too dark.
Great hotel with awesome rooms, we had a balcony view of the pool. Room had a bathtub and a shower! Usually only those shower tubs. Pool is excellent and kids loved it. Staff was really really nice. Everything here is 5 star highly recommend
Great rooms are clean and comfortable. I stayed in a mini suite. The TVs in the suite were too dim, but not the TVs in the bedroom. Front desk said the TVs were not adjustable. That's really my only complaint. Service was great, breakfast was very good, and the golf course are very well maintainedif a little slow.
