Had an amazing stay here for 3 nights for a work conference. Service is as good as it gets and the lodge is gorgeous. If you have the opportunity to stay here I'd highly recommended giving it a try.

This place never disappoints. Stein is the epitome of five star. The staff is always amazing, starting when you first arrive, including the wait staff, and continuing all the way through the ski locker room. Rooms are generally very nice, including fireplaces, heated floors, balcony hot tubs, and plenty of room. The food is amazing too. The wild game chili is too die for. And of course you get immediate direct access to deer valley as well, which is likely the biggest upside of staying here. Don't hesitate, enjoy the ride.

Our main problem (and almost only) was with the private hot tub in our room, one of the main reasons we chose this place. The bromine level was way too high. Both of our eyes and throats were burning after 15 minutes, or skin itched all night and the next day, and everything we washed our swimsuits with still smells like bromine 4 washes later. The engineer who addressed this measured the bromine at 10 ppm; the normal range is 1-3 ppm. They drained and refilled the tub immediately after we told them, but this, and our burned out light bulbs, were simple things that should have been checked before we arrived. We received 2 chocolates for our inconvenience. The staff and service were the best otherwise.

Nice rooms and nice staff but.. The third time I have stayed there but maybe the last time I stay there. Got to room and my wife went to take a bath and found hair and a nail or toenail in the bath and decided to take a shower but found a half used soap and shampoo in the shower. I tried to turn the temp down in our suite but one of the two thermostats were broken so I had to keep switching the working thermostat from the bedroom to main room to get temp down. I paid a lot of money for the room and expected more. Asked for a discount and the front desk said there was nothing they could do. Overall not happy and most likely won't be going back.

The lodge itself is wonderful and the guest rooms are amazing. The fireplace, the hot tub on the balcony, the turn down chocolates at night- they were all wonderful.
My 3 star review is because the highly touted 5 star restaurant is sub-par. It was not very good and we gave them ample chance to impress us. There is construction equipment all over the deck, supplies interrupting your view, and the view could hardly be seen.response / report this review -

Stein eriksen was incredible. Near if not the best hotel we've ever stayed at. Room was incredible. Private hot tub was wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is second to none in terms of mountain resorts. Will definitely be back

I was here for a work event. I cannot really comment on the rooms since I did not stay in one. But the lodge and the surrounding area are gorgeous Also the staff there are extremely friendly. A great experience over all.

It's a really nice place for your event or stay. The staff are very professional and the food is excellent. Views from the lodge are stunning. It's pretty much worth the cost.

This place is an absolute dream! It is obviously a well honed, well organized machine and the staff was wonderful - especially Harris! He was knowledgeable and helpful in every way. The rooms were inviting, clean, and the sights were absolutely remarkable. Would love to visit again!

This place is excellent I brought a young lady here to go ballooning and then be pampered to show her what I think of her They hotel is beautiful and staff very on the ball They acquiesced to all my requests. Watch out tho. The tips add up.. Best to do some things yourself When I can afford it, I'll definitely be coming here again

Really nice place. Almost too good on the service. I'm just the kind of person who would rather carry my own bag. Price point is Well, I'd probably never come here outside of a work function.

Stein Erickson Lodge is the best place I have ever had the privilege of visiting. There is a peace there that cannot be matched anywhere else. The staff make you feel like a million bucks. I will forever have a love for Stein.

The absolute best place to stay in Utah. Ski in, ski out. The rooms and service are amazing. The food you will be talking about for weeks especially the Sunday brunch. Ski lockers, boot dryers, ski rental and stores, spa, .. All top notch. You can even get your lift tickets right there. Combined with Deer Valley skiing, this is the best it can get.

This place truly is five stars. The staff goes above and beyond to take care of everything for you. The shuttle took us into town for dinner and came quickly when we called for them to pick us up after dinner. Plush robes, bowls of fresh apples throughout the property, bottles of water spread throughout the facility as well. Everything I've seen about this place is about quality and customer service.

This place truly earns every star. The mountain is underrated. If you spend a few days exploring you'll find more than perfectly groomed runs. There are fresh powder stashes all over the mountain. The resort is the best in Park City, and one of the nicest with any kind of accommodations in the country. The bartenders remember you every year, and the wait staff is top notch. The locker room attendants are incredible as well. They'll take your boots off and put them on, store your equipment, get you water, whatever! Lastly, the wild game chili is something I literally think about at least once a week. My yearly voyage back here is something I look forward to with excitement.
