I frequent this restaurant and there are definitely pros and cons. The pros: dinner under the grove is a unique experience, service is good, the lighting is great for a late night dinner. Cons: on occasion soup was served cold, when packed it gets loud and some meats will be slightly off from how you asked for it cooked. Overall I love this place and these things won’t stop me from coming here. I recommend the French onion soup and the duck breast.

La Jolla is a beautiful, unique place to dine. Not only is the food AMAZING, the service is top-notch. The staff is very attentive and very detail-oriented. I had made a request to my main waiter to have water with no ice. The water-girl came to refill my glass and she confirmed that I had asked for no ice. I was very impressed. I would highly recommend going, plus the rolls are delicious.

My wife and I got a gift card here so we visited it to see what it was all about. The waiter was offended when we just asked for waters instead of wine or another expensive drink, and ordered entrees without appetizers. On four separate occasions different people stopped us asking if we were sure we didn't want drinks. One of them was the store manager. The food was extremely expensive and the portion sizes were smaller compared to other Italian restaurants I've been to (Carrabba's, Olive Garden, etc) We never saw our waiter again after that, and once we had finished our water glasses, we were on our own. Instead of shaming frugal customers out the door, why not make it a great experience that would make them want to patronize their restaurant in the future? They still get three stars because the food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was incredible with the false ceiling of trees and stars (string lights).

The atmosphere was awesome here. The food in my opinion was just okay. I got their lemon chicken which was bone in and still had the skin on. Not my favorite, though it looked pretty. Overall a good experience, I just think I ordered the wrong thing!

My husband and I had gone to Harmon's in Orem and needed dinner so we went to the Riverwoods to eat at Bajio's. At the last minute we changed our minds and went (for the first time ) to La Jolla Groves.
We were both so glad we did! I had the Blackened Salmon Salad and he had the Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken. The food was insanely delicious.perfect portion size.and yes we WILL go back ! I have worked in restaurants for 40 years and that was the best food I have ever eaten. Well done, La Jolla Groves.

We had my sons wedding lunch at La Jolla Groves. We loved everything about it. They did everything we asked and more. It's a beautiful restaurant. The food was amazing. We had our privacy and we were able to have a program. They were professional and very, very helpful. I will be back and can't say enough great things about them. Thanks for making our sons wedding day unforgettable!!

Food is delicious and service is great. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was a great experience. They have a separate room for private events which was really nice.

If you are looking for a themed restaurant that isn't blah for a special occasion this is the place to come. The interior of the restaurant has many trees that canopy over the tables that create an atmosphere different from other restaurants, and the food is really good. Don't forget to save room for desert, I've even come in simply for the desert Bon appetite!
