Atmosphere and view are rated a 5, but since this is a review of a restaurant and food, can only give them a one. Breakfast took 30 minutes to arrive at the table and when it did it was cold, eggs, bacon, hardened grits, and a biscuit. The plate was returned to the kitchen and two minutes later placed in front of me after being put in the microwave and a quick stir of the grits. A toasted bagel with cream cheese was not even warm when brought out and the cream cheese was a piece cut off a larger brick so didn't spread easily. Waitress gave lots of excuses but never a sorry. The manager did not come to the table except at the end and gave my husband a $20 voucher. Good customer service and hot , good quality food are more valuable.

All I have to say is the view is THE best for any meal. It's a great way to begin the day eating breakfast beachside or watch the sunset for a romantic dinner. There's always live entertainment. The staff is friendly. Parking is across the street. The food is average.

It was good. Best service I've had was this most recent visit and the food was better. So I was pleased. Great laid back atmosphere right on the beach. Beautiful!

Accidents can happen at a restaurant (were all human). Signs of great customer service though is how those accidents are handled. Our first visit will be our last! The server spilled a whole cup of milk on my 4 year old (on her new dress and her food) didn't send anyone to help clean it up (my mother had to find some help), they didn't replace my daughters food (still charged us for it), screwed up my order and left it sitting on the table for 10 min while I consoled and cleaned up my daughter in the bathroom (needless to say no we left hungry). When my father tried to talk to our server she just walked away from us. Management's solution to this fix was a 10% discount or a gift card for our next visit. Why would we come back??? When things go wrong you need to take care of your customers. Our servers accidents seemed to be of no importance to her and she just abandoned us leaving us to fend for ourselves. I am not one to give a negative review however the lack of customer service was just disgusting.

We went there a few times, sometimes for breakfast and once for lunch. The breakfast was always great. The lunch was fine, my friend had the fried Oysters and said they were the best he ever had. My meal was also fine but not outstanding. The waiters were always friendly and of course the view directly to the beach is wonderful. So if you want to have good food directly on the beach this is the place to go.

Beachfront style dining. Thatched roof, weathered wood, almost all outdoor seating, the beach starts where the deck ends. Watch people swim or recreate on the shore while you eat. Serene. Staff is friendly. Lots of food for the price. Even the food has a brightness to it. Taste-wise just ok. At least for my full breakfast. Overall a decent experience on a temperate Saturday at the beginings of the season.

Awful . Server said he couldn't seat us without talking to hostess. That's fine but when we asked hostess, she refused. So we sat in bar area instead. Same server then saw us, said he would be right back and then never came back. Ended up leaving with no drinks or food. Poor service in a tourist area that should be focused on good service. Won't go back.

The food and view were great. However, five days into Eat like a Local Restaurant Week and they're clueless to the event. A waitress said I could order from their special Restaurant Week menu if I could print a coupon from my phone, another said their staff hadn't been trained for the event yet. As I was leaving, after eating breakfast, the manager agreed to honor their special menu offer?? That came a little late. They definitely aren't working very hard for business from the locals but I don't think they really need it either.

This is a cute place right on the beach. Get here in time to watch the sunset, you won't regret it! The shrimp tacos were AMAZING, I highly recommend them. The nachos weren't anything special. They had great live entertainment, the 2 women performing were outstanding.

We went to the cafe for breakfast. The food was good and the service was fantastic! We got seated right away, and our server was there to assist with any questions we had. She made menu recommendations and both were spot on. The prices are exactly what we'd expect for a restaurant on the beach with such fantastic views. We will definitely return here on our next trip to BB.

Tonight, Saturday June 24th. I tried calling ahead at 8:15pm to make a reservation. No answer. My wife and I arrived at 8:55pm we drove all day and saw they have crab legs on the menu. The restaurant states open till 9:30pm. The short lady turned away a table of 8 and 2 other couples and us, stating the bookings they had would out order the kitchen. There were only 5 tables seated and at least 15 tables empty. I looked at her book and saw 2 reservations not crossed out. This is the 'in' season. Either this restaurant can't handle seating more than 5 to 7 tables or they all want to go home and not do their job. I hope the owner reads this and fires some people and emplyes people who want to work there! Maybe they need to change their time till 9pm. Unbelievable.

Ambience was spectacular! Gorgeous & right by the sand. Food was about a 3. We had the AMI Salad for $15. Definitely pricey! The waiter, Dave, was friendly & convinced us to buy both a drink & dessert. Haha. But when it came time to pay, he said they only accepted cards with chips in them. Neither myself or my guest had one, or enough cash to cover this expensive meal, so we had to use the ATM (+fees). The waiter didn't act like this was a bizarre occurrence, however, it took us by surprise. Overall, not the worst place to eat, but it was decent for the night.

Nice place on beach. A bit pricey for what you get; not much selection for "Happy Hour" and you have to be seated at bar in order to partake; We sat 10 feet from bar, on deck. Greek Salad was small $11.95 and only had five greek olives, a table spoon of feta, couple cucumbersREALLY? Despite location, they need to step it up. View is about only good thing about it. Margaritas was over $10, served in small beer glass.

Just had lunch at this restaurant. Owner sold it and got it back again. Service was great. I loved their oysters. They were large and fresh. Always good to be back here with the great weather.
