Knott's Berry Farm is a classic southern California theme park. I came here with my kids and we had a great time. Something that you have to consider before you go is how much it's going to cost. Sure the tickets are a certain price and you can check that on the website but please take into account food and Rental items that you might need. Figure about $100 a person for the day and you won't go wrong. That's the only reason I'm docking a star is because although the experience is great, if you're not planning on spending money after you get through the gates, you're not going to have a good time.

A comfortable, clean, and cozy theme park close to home. Knott's has a great mix of roller coasters and thrill rides along with kid friendly choices. Be aware that some concessions are closed when there is less traffic in the park. This can make the food places that are open very busy. But the space you are able to take advantage of and the slower pace of park goers make it an ideal choice for families or larger groups. A variety of food choices inside and outside the park are great additions too.

Knott's Berry Farm is one of my favorite places. This theme park offers something for everyone. Rides for the young and old, shows, history and more than I can name at this moment, while still not so big you can't see most if it in one visit. They honor veterans and active duty and family with free admission each year. Just be sure to check the dates. I have been many times since 1980 and always excited to return. They absolutely got it right!

Great theme park in the LA area. Definitely a cheaper option than Disneyland or Universal Studios. I would recommend coming here in the fall time on a weekday (if you can). I went end of November on a weekday and waited at most 5 minutes in line for the major rides. Only minor negative about going at this time is not all the restaurants are open so it’s a little harder to find food. Don’t even bother buying the Fast Lane pass during this time, it will be a complete waste as regular admission people didn’t even wait 5 minutes. They have some decent kids rides and if your kids love the Peanuts gang, this park is a must visit.

First time coming here and I have to say I had a good time. There's so much to do. From seeing a blacksmith, panning for gold, riding a 136 years old locomotive, horse carriage rides to thrill rides and shows. There really is something for everyone here. Ghost rider is my favorite ride. Its a wooden coaster that goes super fast and has some wild turns. The show at the Mystery Lodge had some cool effects and a great message. My only wish is that there were better food choices. But overall had a great time!

What I enjoyed about my trip here where some of the roller coaster rides. Silver Bullet is a killer, I had never rode a roller coaster in which your feet hand in the air. The thrill sensation is just awesome. In terms of a fast paced ride Ghost Rider is just awesome, if you don't have a Fast Lane pass (which was my case the time I went), you would easily do a wait line of 2 hours and a half. Yes, tiresome, but to me was totally worth it. I'm a sucker for speedy rides so I was extremely hyped after the ride.

The why I give a regular rate instead of Good or Excellent? Cleanliness and orientation. I noticed several areas that looked out of maintenance and care for easily more than 6 months perhaps. I saw roofs covered with old bubble gums, areas with a lot of dirt and/or spiderwebs, and areas with litter and trash (not so many, but still).
If you need help finding something or just asking how to get to a place you're pretty much on your own with a guide map you can obtain near the entrance. I didn't see many staff members around, on top of that they can hardly give you information, they seem to have general knowledge but actually are not well trained with the park's attractions or activities.
I know I can't compare this park with DisneyLand, but they should actually have more staff members around and also that can actually be helpful.

Overall it's a nice park to visit, but not the best because it takes time to figure out stuff. That makes it somewhat unattractive considering the cost of the entrance plus a Fast Lane pass in order not to do long wait lines all day long.

Definitely one of the best Halloween themed places to go if you love haunted houses and want to be immersed in fun spooky effects and atmosphere. The effort put into set design and costumes is really impressive!

If you're able to see multiple haunted houses or go on many rides, it would be worth the ticket price, however if you go when it's busy you'll wait up to an hour for each attraction. Admittedly this made my time less enjoyable. If I return, I will only come on a weenight hoping it's less crowded.

My wife and I attended the "Knott's Scary Farm" event last Sunday evening. We had a blast. We liked the way the park was decorated and dimly lit. The smoke machines and monsters wandering through the scare zones added to the fun. We purchased fast lane passes for $80 and they were worth every penny. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Super friendly staff and not overcrowded like it's neighboring amusement destination (mouse house). Rides are awesome and food is generally good. Hamburgers are not very good and taste like frozen burgers. Portions are good, almost too much. Great family destination and price is very affordable.

Bought tickets online apparently during an event and since the hours were on the app not the website we got 5 hours taken away and bought fast passes for a half day when I went to guest services she could pull up the hours however was not required to show me and couldn't find them on my phone that I handed her and no where on our tickets did it say hours!! Long list of other policies but not hours of operation! Then told me that when selling $65 fast passes for half days they are not required to tell you then that it's for a half day and you still have to pay full price. It's not their policy is what I was told. Will not be returning to get screwed out of $500 and for a small theme park. Would not recommend.

Loved it! This place is awesome! Good rides, good food, good atmosphere, good layout. We literally spent all day here, and didn't see and do everything. Has plenty of cool stuff for every age group. I love the fun and interesting history tucked into every inch of the place. One of a kind treats, and plenty of shade, this place is a definite must see!

Camp Snoopy
The only reason we go to Camp Snoopy as for my preschooler. Knott's Berry Farm offers the best theme park that is geared towards children without all of the hype or expenses. Definitely the best bang for your buck you won't have to pay $1,000 for a season pass and stand in 3-hour lines.
And the best part about it is that there are no blackout dates.
Knott's Berry Farm is doing an amazing job keep up the good work.

Absolutely loved it! First time here ever! Visited on Thursday May 18th, 2017. With two kids 7 & 3 y.o. they longest wait time for a ride was 10 min. Lots of the rides almost No wait time or maybe just one ride before us. Highly recommend to go on week days. And not during the summer. Kids had a blast! The park is clean, well organized, not too busy for younger kids, loved the educational touches.

Knott's Berry Farm is growing up so quickly it's starting to feel more like a Disney Experience. Can't wait to see what they do in the next few years to Advanced the feeling of the park. The log ride and mine train now are completely amazing with animatronics. Such a wonderful experience. I wish they would bring back the soap box cars and the haunted mystery Shack. I also miss Knott's Berry Tales what a wonderful attraction it was. One other thing I wish they would bring up the quality of the chicken dinners like the old days. Other than that it is a must-see great experience and I love the mystery Lodge which is mind-blowing. One last thing don't forget to go to Knott's Scary Farm it is by far the best Halloween experience that anyone has to offer.It is better than Universal and Disney put together.

Always fun for a smaller amusement park. There are way less crowds here and with our spring break before everyone else the lines are only a couple of minutes.
The place is more coasters and thrill rides good for the kids but I like the scenic story rides.
It is nice to have regular fast casual restaurants in the park.
It is easy to see the whole park in a day.
The parking lot on the left (near water park) is right in front of the entrance and accessed through the tunnel. Very convenient.
I also watched the video of the history of the park and wished the fried chicken was better. Super oily and thin batter.
