Met a friend for drinks in the restaurant. There are tables for formal dinning, higher bar height tables, along with cozy chairs and sofas near the fireplace. During late afternoon a movie was projected on to the wall so you could watch without sound while enjoying friends. Being the hoiday season the main entrances are very festive. The staff was all very courteous, prompt with taking our order and checking in.

Personally, I did not enjoy the atmosphere for dining. Would be a better place for meeting for cocktails and appetizers since most of the tables are knee-height.

Food was decent but the service needs some work. I ordered the roast beet salad (which was actually VERY good) to share with my wife (which I told waiter when ordering) never brought plates for us to share it or utensils to serve it. We asked for bread to nibble on while waiting for dinner. They looked at us like we were crazy and eventually brought bread that was very charred. Asked for butter (at 5pm on a Sunday evening) and were told they "ran out". Of butter really? Better go to the store since you're going in to dinner service.

Just apathetic and lazy employees.

I love coming to this bar as its so friendly with a great cross section of people and age groups.The staff are friendly ,courteous and professional.
I had the recent good fortune to stay at the Culver Hotel.
Took my husband to The Culver for his birthday and had a wonderful time. The jazz band in the Lobby bar was great, the ambiance warm and inviting, and the food was yummy. Old, Hollywood charm makes this venue stand out

My favorite local hangout. Live music every night. Enjoy the nostalgia of a historic landmark while dining or lounging in the lobby-turned-restaurant-bar. The interior makes for a warm, throw-back ambiance. Food has not (yet) been up to par with the great expectations raised by the venue’s splendid appearance. However, having a tea or wine is more enjoyable than anywhere else in Culver City.

First, I think that the Culver hotel is gorgeous. I love the architecture. Second, this review is only for the dinner and drinks as I have never stayed over night. Don't come here if you want quiet, because that it is not. But it is cozy and warm and friendly. Cocktails are fantastic, and the food is above average. Great place for a meeting with friends

The Culver Hotel is a bit of an older building, but great lengths have been gone to in order to give it some charm. The bar and dining areas are great, and the live music is a nice touch. Only downside is that the rooms are a bit on the small side and sometimes oddly laid out.

Susan was our server. Susan, you are a gem thank you so much for your amazing service. Scott is the first person you'll see before entering this establishment and his contagious smile is what brought us in. I ordered wine, but this was probably the best tasting wine I have ever had. Thank you so much for attending to my needs! I will certainly be back.

Awesome, place! The old chandeliers and all the story about it, I went there on a Saturday night for a date and it was a great experience, the music was fabulous, the food excellent and friendly staff. It's good that you don't need reservations, they get walk-ins only. It was a perfect night, I was happy that my date invited me there, for sure a extra plus for him.

The bar at the Culver Hotel is great! They have really unique drinks. It can definitely get crowded on the weekends so be ready for that. The atmosphere is really nice and the lobby is very cozy. I love that they play silent/old movies there. There's also a second bar upstairs but that one can be even more crowded. Overall great experience, and the weekdays tend to be a lot less busy if you want to experience it without the crowd.

Beautiful old hotel that maintains the charms of yesterday. Friendly staff, rooms are not spacious but comfortable and well appointed. Continental breakfast is sparse but rich and fulfilling. Only complaint is the overhead light in the room, a chandelier gives off virtually no light. Suggest you turn on a lamp before leaving for the evening. If you are looking for elegance and charm, would highly recommend.

The bar had a relaxed vibe, where nicely balanced cocktails paired well with the energized jazz band. Though the area is small, there is plenty of room to dance and enjoy the energy of the space. Ceilings are quite high and the decorations seem to bring you back to the early to mid 20th century. Great place to bring a date. The bartenders are knowledgeable and helpful as well (especially if you need drink recommendations).

This hotel is pretty nice. I have nothing I can compare it to in the area though. The room we stayed in was great. The only down side was the bath tub in the room. It was an older style leg tub, which was nice esthetically, but not very easy to shower in. Staff was great, very friendly. Food was also good, we had the morning bunch. Parking is cheaper if you stay in the adjacent whole foods parking garage also. Overall a great place to stay at.

My wife and I got married at the Culver Hotel and they could not have done a better job of helping us have the perfect day. We had to plan our wedding on relatively short notice while several states away, and they were always helpful and prompt with information. Their kitchen is excellent, their staff is friendly and accommodating - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Culver Hotel.

I love the lobby bar with live music nightly. The upstairs bar is cozy and cute as well. I've never stayed at the hotel itself, but the food and drinks are great. The atmosphere is positive with a widely eclectic crowd. The lobby can get pretty crowded though, even on week nights.

Diverse menu. The patio is nicely lit with heat lamps for chillier nights. Our server was sweet and attentive, and the food did not take long. My friend had the lavender cocktail which she loved. I think it's a great spot for a date night or even a hangout with friends.
There's also tons to do around which is nice.
