Very disappointing experience. Sat in the bar, it took 15+ minutes to get our first drinks. My chicken tasted fine, but my roasted veggies were just unpeeled carrots and squash. The person I went with had to return his meal cause it was rubbery. ThenIt took them
15 minutes to come and tell the person I was with that they didn't have the dessert he requested.

At the same time I saw two other parties have to leave disappointed by the service they received.

Went there with the family on a Sunday night. The place was empty and we where hungry. We were told by the host that the wait time was 30 minutes because the kitchen was backed up even though the place was empty. After a 30 minute wait I asked the hostess if we were about to be seated. Her reply was "I don't know!" So seeing that she had an I don't care attitude I asked to speak with the manager. He apologize for the wait but told us that we would not be seated at all because the kitchen was backed up. We explained that we waited for over 30 minutes and would like a table his reply was that even if they sat us they would be extremely busy and backed up that we wouldn't be able to get anything to drink. Why even bother being open. The place was empty, and if the kitchen was backed up with an empty restaurant imagine how they would deal with a busy environment. There is no way a restaurant like this should be operated and run so poorly.

Okay, we arrived 30 minutes before closing so some inattention is expected. Food was pretty good, decor was old, in need of repairs, waiter was very friendly but never refilled our water and completely forgot to bring my drink.

Directly across the street from our office, Elephant Bar has never let us down, whether we're having a lunch meeting on the quiet patio or celebrating happy hour on a Friday at the bar.

The selection of food feels endless, however there are some favorites you should try. For starters, the French Onion Rib-eye Sliders aren't your run of the mill sliders. Packed with grilled onions and thin-sliced rib-eye with bread lightly covered in mouth-watering seasoning, they are by far my favorite item on the menu. The dish comes with your choice of salad as a soup-sandwich combo by default.

If you're fan of Mongolian Beef, try Elephant Bar's spin on this entree, loaded with veggies and covered with special seasoning and sesame seeds.

My family and I frequent this location at least once per month, every time exploring new appetizers, dinner entrees, and desserts. Definitely kid-friendly with an ambiance that makes you feel as though you're dining at an upscale restaurant in the middle of the jungle. Adventurous and yummy!

If you're into craft beers, Elephant Bar does have it's limits. OC enjoys sampling local beers, but the bar here doesn't embrace many local brews as much as I'd expect from other local restaurants. However, they do have a wide selection of popular and seasonal beers, such as Sam Adams and Blue Moon.

Elephant Bar is great for office lunch meetings, happy hours, and general dining for lunch or dinner. I encourage you to explore the menu and ask for seating on the patio when you visit.
