I had a great buying experience with Dan and everyone at Kissell Motorsports. I got 20% off on Klim apparel and they provided me a cover for the GPS since I was riding it out of state. They had very good discounts for all BMW parts and apparel as well. In a couple of years when the time is right for me to search for a new bike I will start my search with Kissell Motorsports.
Bought a bike from here off the internet. Dan and Christianna were very helpful and didn’t feel any sales pressure from them. They even helped guide me in the right direction to have the bike delivered in N.C. highly recommended.
Great customer service! The staff are a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend.
Just back from the annual service on my '16 R1200RS - Megan took my phone call yesterday near the close of business - got me in today and all was fixed/checked/changed/ and gone over in about an hour. I rated Kissell highly at point-of-sale and can now recommend them for service after the sale as well. Megan took the time to listen to my needs and requests and took great care of me and my partner once we arrived. Tom was thorough and detailed in the wrenching/documentation that needed looking after and it was a pleasure to speak with Josh again - he took the time to catch me up with the many happenings that have transpired at the dealership since my last visit. I made the choice to drive the extra miles to see these folks and was happy with the outcome. I recommend them without reservation for sales and service. Wishing Josh & Co. all the best in their new home!
Purchased a low mile 2014 S1000RR from them a while back. Great sales department. I drove about 5 hours to see the bike and it was everything they said it was. They did not waste my time. I drove down to pick it up and all the paperwork was ready to go. The transaction was very smooth and I was on my way with a great priced practically new bike.
Emailed on a Thursday night, received a call Friday morning. After a discussion and a few emails back and forth I had a fully executed Bill of Sale. No BS. Straight shooters. Top notch service. Highly recommended.
I needed a lever for a Honda,
they had it . Nice to see they stock basic parts for bikes they sell.
Going from Omaha NE to Newfoundland Canada, my Triumph broke down in central PA. These guys went out of their way to take a look at it (once it was towed there) and get me back on the road. Paid a very fair price too! You pray you find places like this when you're far from home. Thanks again guys! Newfoundland was mind blowing btw.
I own a wee little '71 Honda CB350 and while I love to do as much of my own work on my bike as I can Kissell is always there for the stuff I can't or don't want to do. Their service department is top notch, knowledgeable and very friendly.
I purchased my helmet here and had a great experience with their sales team. They are always very friendly and helpful!
My experience with KMS was exceptional. I worked with Josh over the phone & worked out a deal on a new '17 BMW S1000R. After being offered a fair amount for my trade, I placed a $300 deposit on the new bike & received a detailed bill of sale within 30 minutes. Headed to State College 4 days later from central Ohio. After a 5+ hr trip to get there, everything moved along smoothly. Craig greeted me upon arrival, Josh showed me around the S1KR & then personally installed a tank protector on it. Finally, Christianna took all my $. lol. She is so honest that she ran out to our vehicle as we were leaving to give me $11 in change that I had forgotten about. Other than the long trip, it was honestly the best buying experience I have had. Would not hesitate to recommend these folks to anyone. Thank you Josh, Craig & Christianna. You guys are top notch!
The entire staff is great. This is a no pressure style dealership with a great service department as well.
Kissell Motorsports is 1200 miles away from me, but they had a high mileage yet pristine S1000R listed at a good price that I couldn't pass up. They gladly worked a long distance deal that landed me the bike at a great price. They're an honest dealer-- everything was up front and transparent, including the state of the bike. The final purchase order came out exactly as I wanted with no surprise fees or charges. I appreciated working with Josh who helped initiate and follow through on the deal. He and Craig answered all of my questions about the motorcycle. However, it was Christanna who was the consummate business manager that sealed the deal with her prompt and thorough work with financing and paperwork. She made the transaction a pleasure. She smoothed over all of my internal reservations of buying a motorcycle that I hadn't even seen in person just by virtue of her high level of customer service. Vendors, take note of what I'm saying here! You may claim all the integrity you want but it will be your execution of customer care that will make all the difference at allaying the natural fears people have with large purchases.
If I am to fault them for anything, it would be for their sales team's somewhat lackadaisical will to complete the sale. The no pressure approach is nice to a point but if a customer has expressed and proven a serious desire to buy your product, it would behoove the dealer to streamline the lengthy process with reasonable urgency. In the end, however, the Kissell team won my business and I will not hesitate to give it to them again in the future when the time comes for a new, sweet ride.
Thanks again for getting my sweet pink Buddy Scooter in for inspection! Not only did the crew get me in same day, but I also got some information about where to locate a part I need and a chance to shop for a couple more cc's :) thank you all!! You all are alway friendly and helpful, and I never feel intimidated walking in with a bunch of questions.
Misogyny runs rampant here. I've visited twice by myself fully intending to purchase new gear. Neither time I visited did I warrant the attention of ANYONE working in the shop. During two of the times I've visited with my husband, he was greeted and spoken to while I remained ignored. The third time I visited with him, I was finally addressed by an employee but then spoken to as if I was a complete idiot when I was trying on helmets. When, in the course of the conversation, it became obvious I knew just as much about the helmet as the salesperson, he became snippy with me. The joke is on the shop. I used them as my dressing room and then placed my orders online. I try to "shop local" when possible; KMS makes it impossible.
