I couldn't even get a response when I tried to inquire about availability. Sent two emails through a listing and they didn't even bother to respond. No class.

I lived in Alderwood Trails Apartments for approximately 6 years from 2011-2017. In the beginning all was GREAT, but around 2015 things went down hill with rent drastic rent increases, no repairs or upgrades on requested issues. Also the staff is all LATIN and DEFINITELY shows PREJUDICE against other races. They charged me for every little minor thing upon moving out, wouldn’t return my SECURITY DEPOSIT and have terrible management and customer service. I lived in a 1 bedroom that was listed for $550 in 2011 and now that same unit is listed $850. The neighborhood is JUNKY. The management seems to not pay their GARBAGE and there is always extra garage hanging around the dumpster area. Also, they stopped providing neighborhood SECURITY as well as EXTERMINATION. This complex should be definite LAST RESORT. I am so glad I finally decided to move and get FREE AGAIN. That place felt like PRISON

Vanessa is great and very easy to communicate with and the other pretty hispanic girl is nice aswell, but the manager is salty with a nasty attitude. Shes nice and a kiss ass while you are trying to rent an apartment, but once you finally get the apartment its a complete flip. Also bitched at my mom for getting a coffee in the office. its a damn coffee its free, but apparently only for "new residents", yet it does not state that anywhere around the office. Yes people a coffee.

Great staff, we as residents get frustrated, they deal with many issues including the dirty residents leaving trash all over, I personally complaint of my neighbors leaving trash by the door on my hallway. They recently fine all of us for having the patios dirty. Remember they follow rules and regulations and if we follow the rules we wouldn't have issues or fines. The apartments are very nice, floor plans are great, near everything.

Vanessa was amazing to work with! Kudos to her! Wish I could say the same about the other two ladies that work in the office.
The communication with the management is terrible! They can't even tell you the correct price for an apartment. I was told three different prices from the time I initiated contact with them until I decided that it is not the place I want to live. The attitude of the management staff is terrible and speaks volumes to a potential renter of what to expect once settled in. Clean up the management there and the problem will be solved. Period!
I would not rent there and definitely would not refer or recommend anyone to rent there! You would be setting yourself up for some heartache!response / report this review -

Pros:
Location - Close to the interstate, Doraville Marta station, and the Buford Highway Farmers' Market.
Rent - $724/Month
Cons:
Roaches - Many tenants in my building are constantly dealing with roaches.
Maintenance - It is very difficult to get to get maintenance done unless you constantly contact management.
Noise - The interstate is right next door and I can hear it in my living room. Over time I have adapted and do not notice the noise except during rush hour.
Laundry room - The washers and dryers are always having some mechanical issue, and there is garbage, and debris everywhere. In addition, there has been extremely damp and slick floors.
Grounds Maintenance - The parking lot is is poor shape, and parking spots are not clearly marked. Some times there is garbage and food discarded upon the ground that sits there for days. There was a court for playing sports at the back of the complex that is in horrible shape.
Internet - Getting Cable internet is a nightmare. my apartment was not wired up properly it took slightly longer than a month working with comcast and the apartment complex to secure comcast cable. I had to contact both twice a week. I missed 4 days of work because of this. The DSL available for the complex is 1.5 megabits/sec which is very slow.response / report this review -

They are the worst. They never answer the phone. The office hours are different from was online and it caused me to be late on my rent by 30 mins. And they said that they don't care. I would never stay here agin. They are the worst in every way. The plumbing sucks like find another place to stay

Dirty apartments! Old cabinets, cockroach infected apartments, maintainance takes a
Over a week to fix problems. Pool never open only when they feel like it! Dangerous property people have been attacked and my apartment was broken into, they didn't do anything about it. Worst place to rent and rent is to high! Gym has like 2 machines that most of the time are out of order! The manager is super rude. They make rules and don't enforce them!response / report this review
