This place has been one headache after the next. I have made the huge mistake of resigning my lease. Mostly because I hate moving! I have had nothing but rudeness tossed my way by maintenance and leasing team. There are some nice people who work here, don't get me wrong But when it counts, ashford 3400 fails miserably.
I have had to deal with no A/C for more than 24 hours in 89 degree weather(which I believe is illegal). I have had a tub that was peeling for nearly two months And put in several maintenance requests. Paint on all the doors and windows peels. Plumbing here is a joke. And so is the electrical. Some outlets work, but most electrical outlets don't work. The plumbing is fixed like a bootleg fake plumber did it, and I don't blame maintenance for that I blame the apartment management for being cheap and refusing to spend the money necessary to maintain the upkeep on this place. Roaches. EVERYWHERE! And I am a clean person. I don't leave food out, I spray myself and leave traps, but this place is infested. Tried several times to allow them to get rid of them, it never works.
After all the issues I have had They raised the rent over $100 monthly This place isn't worth the money.
Currently, my upstairs neighbors a/c unit is leaking and it has been leaking down the wall and into my bathroom ceiling, it has been doing this for 3 days. And they have come out once to tell me that they would come look at it again.. And never showed up. Every time I try to sit on the toilet, I get drenched in the water coming out of the ceiling. There are water stains all over my ceiling now, and the ceiling is drooping and falling apart Literally. DONT MOVE HERE.
I will say, it is safe. Property management sucks. They will tell you they are under new management and it's better, it's not. They are even more money hungry, and less concerned with your needs. Ironic since the tenants are the ones allowing them to have a paycheck!
UPDATE:
After all the headache that my husband an I had with Ashford, we did end up having to stay another 6 months. I wanted to bring you a bit of an update as to where we stand, in hopes of helping people make a decision on whether or not you want to live here.
We have gotten new management, again. Radco loves to move people around, but in this case, its a wonderful thing. They sent the old property manager (Wendy), and her assistant (Gisella) to another property and brought in Ashley, who we LOVE. She has responded to our concerns quickly and she takes what we say seriously. I have been so pleasantly surprised by how quickly Ashley has turned this place around.
I also want to give a shout-out to Michelle, she has been at the property since Wendy and Gisella were here, and she was they only person in the office we liked and that didn't treat us badly. She has remained professional and she has always addressed our issues the best way she could. We are leaving the property in less than a month, but we will miss the new crew here. They are great. Management and the team in the office is what makes or breaks an apartment/leasing experience. If they can keep the team they have now, people will be happy to live here.
I did change my rating from a one star, to three, I would give it more if my initial 2.5 years here weren't so bad.
but if I was looking at just the experience that I have had since Ashley moved into the office, I would prob give it a 4.5-5 stars.response / report this review -

Terrible. I made the worst decision on my life to live here. The complex is not secured, you will not feel safe here. They also have a bad management team. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

It’s a nice place , it’s safe , staff is friendly , but what I hate most about it and the reason we plan on moving is the BUGS! It doesn’t matter if you keep clean , they will come in your house and start a family . It’s gross . They are outside , in the parking lots , they get inside cars , it’s honestly unbearable. Pest control only comes upon request , sometimes a week late and with the amount of bugs, if you miss one treatment , it’s like starting all over again. You can’t get rid of them, you can only “control” them and that’s not good enough. I have a newborn and can not continue to stay here.

I recently moved from a house in Cobb County to Ashford 3400. At first I loved everything about it, then some people moved in above me. They were beyond obnoxious and their complete disregard for people living around them was appalling. Partying all hours of the night, throwing trash off their balcony, letting their ashes and cigarettes fall down onto my patio. Beyond unacceptable. So, I took it to the manager, Ashley, in hopes of getting some type of resolve. She was wonderful, not only did she take my concerns very seriously, but the matter was handled and resolved in a short time. I have lived in tons of apartments, and have never gotten this level of great customer service. I would recommend these apartments based off her customer service alone. However, it is very nice and quiet, clean and peaceful. The staff is also very polite and attentive. I will definitely be recommending Ashford 3400 to my friends and business associates.

I have lived in this community for almost 25 years. I could not be happier with what they are doing with the community. You would think after 25 years, a property would be worn down, but the latest management has renovated the entire community, and keeps it very clean. It is a pleasure to live here, and keeps getting better.

I absolutely love my new place! It's clean, modern and very quiet. The staff has been friendly and helpful and that made my move super easy! Special thanks to Miss Michelle in the office, she has been a joy and a blessing to work with! Bottom LineMove to Ashford 3400, you will be happy!

The staff is always nice and courteous. The property is always clean and the maintenance team always takes care of any apartment issues in a timely fashion.

I loved the cleanliness, the effort they put towards maintaining the property. I wasn't too impressed by the maintenance service. One guy left a muddy footprint in my place, they installed blinds incorrectly, plugs were backwards, the painting was a bit sloppy and when I asked them to spray paint the rust stains on my BEIGE fridge they used WHITE spray paint. Besides that the people that lived there was cool, the place is pretty safe, no crime happened within a year that I lived there and the management were excellent. Definitely a lot of bang for my buck.

The community is quiet and mature, which is a big step up from the last complex I lived at. Furthermore, the office staff is genuinely nice and always more than willing to help. Maintenance is spotty - sometimes they are there within a couple days, sometimes they are less dependable. But with such a large community and relatively small maintenance team, that's not too unexpected. Overall, great place to call home!

I moved to the Atlanta area for a new job and needed to find an apartment very quickly. I was so happy when I came across Ashford 3400 and loved calling it home for the year I resided there- very safe, quiet and pet friendly community. I would have renewed my lease if it were located a little bit closer to the city for social reasons. The new renovations are great aesthetically and you get a good amount of living space for the price. That said, I do wish the bedroom closet was larger (but I made do), and the power outlets weren't very functional (it was difficult to keep things plugged in- I just used surge protectors and power strips). But overall I had a great experience with the community, the residents and the management team.

I have been at this apartment for 25 years! I can honestly say that this is the best I have EVER seen it. Since the new management company came in that have put so much love into the community. My wife and I absolutely love it now more then ever. The office is staff are always so happy whenever resident walk through the door and are just so pleasant to deal with. I hope to make this my home for more years to come.
