This is the original Jungle Jim's international market. It is always a fun adventure to stop there. But beware you can easily be lost, wandering about the various sections of the store. There you will find fresh produces and meats as well as a very impressive wine selection. I have never been able to visit without bringing home some kind of food new to us to discover.
The best parts are definitely the wine and beer section. Not only they have a huge selection they also will order you what you want if they can find it in their supplier list
I live Jungle Jim's but it is easy to get list looking for jam as located in about 4 different places/countries. The movie room (shos the history of the store) is my son's favorite place. Make sure you stop by the seafood area for cocktail sauce sampling.
It is especially fun to visit during holiday seasons because you can purchase any traditional item from your country of origin.
We love visiting Jungle Jim's. They not only carry foods from around the world but also your typical groceries. Every week they have a sale ad. In store you can sample several items. They offer fresh produce and seafood as well as classes (cooking). Alcohol and cigars, toys, pet supplies, speciality items such as a gluten free area are all available. It is a great grocery store!
It's the Willy Wonka of grocers! So many things! So many great products, and some bad ones but hey, that's what happens when you have absolutely everything there is to offer. A whole aisle dedicated to hot sauce! Even aisles dedicated to imported goods from different countries. The Germany aisle did not disappoint as I found all sorts of goods I remembered from my European trip a few years ago. Just overall a great experience. Highly recommended
Love this place! What is there not to love about a place with everything? I mean EVERYTHING. They have a fire truck full of hot sauce. An entire section of the store is devoted to displaying products from individual countries. There is a large section for fresh fruits and vegetables. And the entire collection of specialty items, is surrounded by other stores and a mono-rail and other novelties. It is just a fun place. Be sure to find the world famous toilet.
Love, love, LOVE Jungle Jim's, ever since I was a kid. My parents used to make a big deal out of going to Jungle Jim's when I was little. It would be akin to going to the museum or zoo; a fun, every-so-often event that would take all day, be filled with exploration, and would leave my sister and I happy and full of candy. Still a great place to go as an adult, even better maybe because i can appreciate the huge wine selection!
So many coves choices. I love shopping here every time I'm home.
I have traveled around the world and tried tons of food. It's amazing to come home and see this stuff to cook on my own. Large discount area as well. Workers are always friendly and many different samples.
Always a fun place to go! They have literally everything you could want. I love to go for their Prime meat. Deli section is pretty awesome too. Actually the whole store is awesome. You could spend hours in there and not realize it. It is ALWAYS packed. Sometimes there are some really great deals, like recently they had 6-packs of grape Sunkist soda (in bottles) for $0.99 each. One complaint I have is the coupon policy. They are incredibly stingy about coupons and which ones they accept. Also, if there is a pricing error, it becomes a huge deal and several people have to get involved. The employees all act like they'll get sent to the torture chamber if they don't triple check the price before they make the correction. That part always makes me uncomfortable.
THIS IS THE FUNNEST MOST AMAZING GROCERY STORE IVE EVER BEEN TO.
When my friend said we were stopping in here because it was amazing I thought she had lost her mind, but it was me that lost my mind when I walked into this wonderland of international food and child hood dreams!
We all made a big day out of it. My husband and I have actually considered relocating to be close enough to go every week. We decided that being so close would be too tempting and we still have a mortgage to pay.
It would have been worth it though!
I love this place! It is fantastic place to get exotic foods for cooking, cigars, alcohol, and hot sauces. That being said, it is overpriced for normal every day goods. Definitely worth the time to check out and worth getting lost. Every time we go we find a new corner to explore.
This place was amazing! So many variety of food from around the world. I even liked the little things above the shelves. It even seemed that the music changed depending on where in the world you was in the store. The only thing i didn't like was the wine tasting experience. $5 for a cup of wine. Little pricey. They should have a flat rate to try different wine or beer. Other than that, it was a great experience.
You want it, there is a good chance they have it. Browsing can take up to 4 hours, and you will enjoy all the interesting food finds. Extensive wine selection. Huge beer and hard cider selections. Best grocery store around for those odd selections. More international foods than anywhere else I have been.
An absolutely amazing place. We drive 3.5 hrs at least once a year for this place.
I have never been to any grocery store with more selection. Every possible brand of each product, a HUGE produce section, and, my favorite part, a huge international section with an aisle or two for each country.
From France & Belgium, to Eastern Europe to Asia to Australia, they have it all. And not the Americanized versionthey have the actual products imported from those countries with the foreign language on it. I lived in Germany for 6 months so I love coming here to find my German specialties that I can't get anywhere else!
The Disney experience of grocery shopping. Also offers rare to find items across the entire globe. Chocolate candies to fresh fish and fruits and vegetables. And lots of samples. They have their own cooking school as well as Starbucks a post office Jersey Mike's and other shops inside. Good decor and it will blow you away. Go online to view their ads to help save you money before you go. Walmart and Kroger may be cheaper on some things
Absolutely love this place. It is not just a grocery store it is a destination! This international grocery store has everything you could ever think of under one roof. We frequently visit Jungle Jim's and I'm always excited about trying out new things that they have to offer. Unique food offerings from so many different countries. I go back to pick up some favorites and always end up finding new things that become my favorites too!
