Me and my kids love going here just to hang out. The only bad point is that they don't really have playgrounds for the kids to play on. But they do have some very nice and beautiful trails to walk on. They also have some great learning programs for kids and adults alike.

Great hiking trails! It is obvious that they stretch the budget to keep everything nice. I have also attended a few events here at the Krippendorf Lodge, and they are always done very well.

CNC is a great place to spend time enjoying the "great outdoors." Trail maps let you tailor your hike to the amount of time you have (miles from point to point) and how many hills you want to traverse (easy to difficult). Most trails are paved with crushed stone. There are lots of scenic overlooks, a playscape for kids, butterfly gardens, and much more.

Plenty of different areas to be able to observe wildlife. Wooded areas range from thick forestation to more open areas with sparse trees. Multiple ponds to visit. Very educational summer camp programs and different activities for the whole family. Tucked away into the woods there is an adorable preschool. What a neat way to begin your education!

I absolutely love the Nature Center and my kids do too! Great hiking trails, they're always kept up nicely. The Playscape is so fun for the little ones, they love the stream that is made to play in! It's amazing how many animals we get to see there. Great for bird watching. Daily admittance is a little high but a membership is well worth it!

This is such a beautiful place. There are many trails available, with a handy guide to let you know their difficulty, and each offers its own unique sites and experiences. There is something new to see every time you visit. Great for hiking with your dog and there is a kids area that is a perfect closed space for little ones to get up close& interact with nature. I've been visiting regularly for almost a decade and even had my wedding here. It is quite simply one of the most wonderful natural spaces in this area.

A very nice place in the spring for a hike. There are many spring flowers and birds. It is out of the way and a bit expensive, but it has nice areas for children and the nature store is very nice.

This is my fourth year as a member of the nature center. The grounds are absolutely stunning and everything is well maintained. I really enjoy walking and "hiking" around here!

First time here and it was a great experience. Tons of good trails that offer all different levels of hiking, at least for the area. Would highly recommend an outing here. There is an entrance fee.

We are members. It's always a great place just to walk and explore. It's fun identifying the different plants and such as you walk the many paths.

    Friendly and VERY knowledgeable staff!
