I wished I lived on this side of town. I would definitely go more often. This place is the best as far as smaller local dives. The sound and lighting is great. Saw an unbelievably great local band Crowning Thieves last night. Gotta say they are the real deal.

This is a great place to see live music. We went on a Friday night to watch my friend's new group who are a cover band for Black Crows, called Smokin Crows. It was their first gig and I was impressed by the stage for the opening band plus it sounded great. The next two bands played on the bigger stage which was also great, but we only stayed for a couple songs. Do not forget you ID, no matter what your age as Joe will not let you in. We had to drive back home as my boyfriend who is 50 forgot his. Seemed a little silly but he is strict on that rule.

Helluva place to throw down! As a performer that has been here, its the best they come! Joe the owner is one of us musicians too so he is fair and more than giving to the bands and the drinksdont get me started!! Great place!

Such an amazing location and venue!!! Owner is an kick ass guy!!! Lots of great locals, bartender was fantastic, and the sound guy and sound system rocked!!! This was our first stop on tour and if you're​ ever traveling through Pheonix as a band hit this place up as an open mic or through their promoters. You won't be disappointed!!! I love this place!!! They treat their customers and musicians right!!!

The exterior of the building is in bad shape. The interior pretty much the same, but I went to the I See Stars show and was blown away by how good it sounded. Beats the Nile hands down for sound quality.
