Good bar food and really good beers. Here you get brews that aren't in the stores or anywhere else but the brewery. Parking well it isn't very good but it's Tempe so that's not unusual. When the weather is nice it's great to sit outside on the patio. Definitely a place to go if you like good beer.
Excellent venue food and drink were both top notch. Casual dress, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and space heaters to keep you warm if it's a bit chilly.
Great beer! Didn't try any food but it looked good. We had several beers all of which were very good. Definitely recommend this for all from the beer novice to the beer expert!
Tempe local of 5 years here. Been to Four Peaks quite a few times with family and friends and have yet to have a negative experience. The bar and patio are usually quite busy but the service is still high quality even at it's busiest times. Not only do they offer a variety of beers that are sure to interest most hop heads but they offer a decent menu selection for food. I have had a number of different appetizers and meals here and so far all have been quite satisfying in price, portion size, and quality. Whether you're a local or someone visiting town I highly recommend giving Four Peaks a try! The only gripe I do have with Four Peaks is they have a lack of convenient parking. However, being a restaurant in Tempe that is quickly becoming a more dense and urban area that is quite popular lack of parking is to be expected.
Sat in the Brewery. Cool. Drank some 8th Street and peach ales. Loved the fish n chips. Good area around ASU. So trendy!
4peaks has been a Tempe landmark for years, It's grown and changed from the days you could hop the wall from the rock gym and walk in the back door but for the most part its for the better, Beer is not what it once was but still always consistent and solid.
The food was excellent! I ordered a veggie burger with fries and drank Ace apple cider on tap. My boyfriend had fish and chips and drank a pint of Hop Knot. I don't like beer and I can say his beer was actually good. It didn't have that gross typical beer flavor and foam or leave a bad after taste. The apple cider was delicious, finally a good apple cider! I am going to look for it at the store, I hope it is just as good from a bottle. The service and environment were also great.
Wow, I feel awkward placing a low review for this place but I just tell it like it is. Food at this place was mediocre at best. I don't drink alcohol so maybe that's the reason why it didn't taste good to me. The tea actually tasted bitter -more like beer- so that was another downer for me. We had a fairly large party and most in our group didn't finish their plate and it wasn't because it was a big plate. Some was overcooked, some over-saturated with spices and others just plainly tasteless. Service was pretty much in par with the food as we hardly saw the waitress and she took ages to come by and check on our empty drinks. I can say that I will never come back to this place again. Oh and almost forgot to mention the loud drunk people around us screaming and yelling for no reason.
Great grub and excellent brew. The Matriarch Burger was top 3 best burger I've ever had. Washed it down with a Hop knot and and a Double knot IPA. Delicious. Would like to taste a bit more hops in the brew but over all a 5 star joint all the way. I'll be back when I'm back this way.
The wait time was quicker than expected, food came in good time and was quite tasty (we had spinach dip and southwest burgers), and the beer selection was awesome. The men's restroom was small?.. I don't know, I'm struggling to think of any negative points. Definitely worth a try while in Phoenix/Tempe!
Six years we've been coming here. Six years of Pat's Run, and 6 years of lunch and drinks amd Four Peaks. Honestly, it's one of the best parts of the rununtil this year. No lunch menu until 1pm!? Seriously?! Over AN HOUR for food! Only a fraction of the meal comp'd?! Are you kidding me?!
Look, I know Pat's Run is a busy day for them. But we've NEVER had to wait this long. The server was horrendous. The manager was rude. And they couldn't even comp the meals. Pretty unbelievable.
I am so disappointed because this was something we all looked forward to every year. It was our traditionnot anymore.
Fun place to hang out and sip on some beers.
Friendly and attentive staff. Lots of outdoor patio space (complete with fans, misters, and corn hole), indoor space, and some bar seating. The food's alright, the wings were pretty tasty, the southwest burger was just ok. The beer leaves something to be desired if you're into darker or hoppier stuff, but with good weather and good company, even that can be forgiven.
Hop heads - get the double knot!
We went and even according to google it was WAY busier than normal and parking was horribleSeriously need more parking but OMG THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. I had the lamb burger with the side of pasta salad. DIVINE. Ive spent a lot of time in Greece and Italy in my life and lemme tell you the pasta salad tasted like I was back in Italy and the lamb burger was like a classier gyro from Greece. I was on vacation at a restaurant. That's not even the beer talking 😜
I disliked this place because the service was seriously lacking. As well as the fact when I ordered medium rare I was sent back a rare almost blue burger. My husbands burger he luckily didn't eat and we took home. To which I found not one but three fine black hairs inside of the burger.
The only reason I gave two area was because the place was visually pleasing and the beer was good. So its a decent place for drinks but I suggest waiting for new cooks before eating here.
