Ok I'll start of with me and my husband are returning customers. In 2005 he took out a Dodge Ram and paid it off in 5 years. So we decide to go (on a Saturday) back for a Jeep Compass. Everything was going great until I noticed paint chipped off the back and a screw in the tire. No biggie it's fixable. So I am given a loaner until the following Monday which was the day for pick up. I call Monday and am informed that the tire hasn't been fixed and that there was only one worker who does painting and it would be 3 days. No biggie. I ask to switch out the vehicle for a smaller one. Go pickup the smaller one and all of tree sudden my tire is being installed so they tell me i can take mine and return Sunday for the painting, I agree. I get home and my mother informs me that I have a dealer tag on my car. I call and no one seems to know where my tag is. The rugs inside the vehicle where missing, there were no handbooks on the car and they didn't know where the extra key was. I take the car back Sunday and inform them of these details and was assured that by my return it would be fixed. I was not happy when i returned only to find out that the receptionist knew nothing about me picking up the car, (she and a gentleman were very helpful though), the rugs were not the correct rugs for the jeep, they couldn't even be hooked on due to the holes being in a completely different spot. I purchased 4 new air fresheners for the air vents and 2 were gone, then when driving off the lot I noticed that my tank was at a quarter and 100 miles were put on a brand new vehicle, a vehicle in which was not supposed to be moved off the lot, not to mention that it was supposed to be ready by Wednesday and i got a text on Thursday saying it would be ready the following day. My husband was going to get a new truck in January 2018 i highly doubt it will not be from here. I'm just so disappointed at how this turned out. From the moment i noticed the screw in the tire and the chipped paint on a brand new car I should have went with my instinct but gave them the benefit of the doubt due to how our first deal went great. I was and still am in disbelief that this has happened. Let's see if i get the correct floor mats. I only put 2 stars because the receptionist was very helpful as well as the gentleman who assured me he would order the proper floor mats.
In August of this year I purchased a 2014 Chevy Van w/126K from Larry Burton in the Pre-Owned dept. Larry was professional and easy to work with. 3 Months and 3,000 miles later I had to rebuild the Transmission at a cost of $2000. Clearly this was an ongoing issue with the transmission prior to Jerry Ulm Dodge making the Van available for sale. Jerry Ulm Dodge advertised the Van as being sound and having had a full inspection. I will not be returning as a customer, nor will I be recommending anyone to this dealership in the future.
The used car department is always my go to place for great cars at great prices. Everyone is very friendly and honest about pricing. And honesty and great prices is not always what you would find at a used car dealership. But at Jerry Ulm Dodge Chrysler Jeep that's what I find every time. Their service department is always a great place to have your car looked at. They recommend only what is needed and do the repairs properly the first time.
I just leased a beautiful Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Jerry Ulm Dodge; this is the second vehicle I have leased from them. The staff at the dealership are knowledgeable, friendly and the service is amazing. Their selection was great and had all kinds of options already available on some vehicles with a chance to easily add more customization if I wanted. The prices were lower than any other dealers around. The process was effortless and everyone made me feel comfortable, making sure every question I had was answered. I am a female, out buying a car by myself, and this was in incredibly positive experience. Highly recommend you guysThanks!!
Bought a challenger T/A 392 here. Place is outstanding. Think my sales guy was Martin Gero if memory serves. Though he drives a mustang, I still like him.
I recently bought a New 2017 Ram Rebel from Jerry Ulm. My experience was 1st class. The Sales Associate Martin was extremely knowledgable answering every question I had with detail. "Impressive". The Sales Manager and Finance Manager both spoke to me during the process and provided us with quality service. Dave checked in on us a few times during the process making us feel like we were important. We have bought vehicles from Jerry Ulm before, We will continue to purchase our vehicles from Jerry Ulm and recommend this dealer to anyone deciding where to go buy there next car or truck. I had a fantastic first time car buyers experience with Jerry Ulm. I works with Brett Darrow through the entire process of test driving, pricing and what I can afford, to finding the right wrangler for me! Even after the purchase Brett was very responsive with any questions I had and helped me out in the service department! Brett has unfortunately moved on to other opportunities, and I have continued to go to Jerry Ulm for any issues I have. More specifically before Irma came to town, I walked into the service department 15 minutes before their techs leave (again, so sorry!). No one seemed bent out of shape, and they looked at the issues I was having and fixed it immediately. Had they not been so kind, I may not have had the ability to evacuate had I needed to! Wonderful, hard working, family oriented dealership. Whether you are buying, selling, or need service done, this is the place to go!
I have been a loyal Jerry Ulm customer for over 20+ years, but due to a recent sales experience at the dealership i will not return. I have purchased over 10 cars/trucks from Jerry Ulm not to mention my friends & family over the years. You would think that an offer to purchase another vehicle would warrant a reply! End of month nearly here and the chance to move a 2016 year model from their inventory was not of interest to them (David G.).
I hope your new owners will strive to build and retain future customers before you lose anymore from the past.
We recently looked at numerous vehicles for our daughter. Our search took us to Tampa and Jerry Ulm Dodge. We found a Dodge Dart she really liked however when it came down to buying her the car we had a few requests. Not only did they say they would take care of these items, they went above and beyond. Thank you Jimmy and Larry for your help and staying true to your word. We will definitely be back in the future to Jerry Ulm Dodge.
Don't buy a Jeep if you expect them to honor the five year warranty on the paintThey won't. Paint is bubbling on the fenders of my Jeep and based on a picture Chrysler has determined it is not a paint issue. It's a paint issue because it is doing it on the same place in both front fenders. The rest of the paint on the vehicle scratches very easy. Jerry Ulm blindly supports Chrysler. The person who took the picture and sent it to Chrysler said she would call me back same day or next day. I had to call the Dealership after a week to be told the paint issue was not a paint issue. Poor service and follow up. This is my 3rd and last Jeep. Next vehicle will be a Land Rover or Range Rover.
I'm not a fan of car dealerships. Overpriced. HOWEVER, this is not the ordinary car dealership in my opinion. They bent over backwards to accommodate my car repair and DID NOT overcharge me. As a matter of fact, they were more reasonable than any other shop I called.
I will buy my next car from this dealer even though I live in Missouri!!
You should give these guys first shot at your business. Period!
Yasi was awesome she got me into the perfect jeep. I had zero credit etc and she made it happen. She was very personable and not a pushy sales person. She even came in on her day off to help I would highly recommend going through her and getting a vehicle here!
Ten days ago, I purchased a new Jeep Cherokee Limited from Jerry Ulm. Yesterday, my wife discovered while exploring the features of the car that there was no donut/spare tire or tools in the covered recess designed for their storage and clearly described in the owner's manual. We contacted Jerry Ulm (salesman Tyler T. ). He checked the invoice data and informed me that the spare tire kit was not included. It was 5:50 PM on a Friday, but Tyler said that there was no one available in management that could address this issue. He said that he would have some one in management call me in the morning. Instead, Tyler called the next morning to report that he had talked to his manager and that the best they could do would be to order a kit at a cost to me of $310. At no time during the demonstration of the vehicle did anyone inform my wife or I that there was no spare tire kit. It appears to me that Jerry Ulm, in an effort to reduce costs, orders his cars sans vital equipment and then conceals this to the buyer. Roadside service in remote areas .is totally dependent on the availability of cell phone coverage. I can remember the day when Jeep was known for off road capabilitiesYesterday
(()2/21/17), the problem with the spare tire kit was resolved to my complete satisfaction.. For a number of years we've brought our Jeeps to Jerry Ulm for service and have found their facility efficient and reliable.
