The hotel was so full of history! Beautifully restored to the elequence of it's original design. We slept in a gorgeous suite. The hotel featured three restaurants we ate breakfast in the grand ballroom and it definitely was Grand! Super staff and extremely relaxing experience!!

I attended a professional conference at the resort. The meals provided were very good, better than other conference centers I've visited. The resort itself is very nice, great atmosphere and grounds.

Amazing and friendly staff. They're very attentive to guest and locals. Beautiful views and a quiet getaway for the weekend of a family trip. There is a docked restaurant (The Warf) that is a seafood and fresh food lovers dream.

Always a pleasure and a delight to visit the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. It is a tranquil get away. Both the Sans Souci and Club Hotel are wonderful to stay in and the Dining Room dinners are magnificent. The staff and visitors are friendly and accommodating. Be sure to meet Marty Jekyll on your stay :)

I highly recommend the Jekyll Island Club Resort. We had such an amazing time here. The room was outstanding, the restaurants excellent. Rent bikes, go on the dolphin tour, see the turtles, take an historic tour & the beach club. We are already planning to go back and I never want to visit the same place twice! You will love it!

My review is only for the dining side of things (although I'd love to stay in the hotel!) We had a fantastic lunch here last week and I've also been here for breakfast in the past when attending a conference. Food is excellent, ambience wonderful, very old fashioned, old and elegant venue, beautiful grounds and building. Don't expect a quick meal, but we loved the slower paced lunch service and loved not being rushed. I honestly had so much trouble choosing what to have too - the menu had so many delicious options. Lovely views from the dining room - a real treat!

My first stay was very memorable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Bill at the Bellhop station made sure every transition to and from the hotel was fast, friendly, and personable. He stands out the most to me and my co-worker as one of the people who made us feel special and comfortable! He was very attentive and practiced great customer service.

The only thing we wish the hotel had was a business center. It was difficult for us to work without access to a printer, scanner, and a desk.

The hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms, however, are very small and the air conditioning is not quite suited to the hotel size. I'm here for a wedding. I've put my children up in a "discount" hotel down the road for a much lower price and, to be quite honest, the room that my children have has more to offer than the rooms at this hotel. For more than a hundred bucks less per night my kids have a kitchenette, a living room area, and two queen sized beds. The hotel is nice for creating a memory but the next time I come to Jekyll Island I'll be staying down the road.

I had my wedding here on 3/11/17 and it was perfect! I have to admit I was a little nervous given that I went down there site unseen. I decided to do a destination wedding and couldn't make it down there beforehand to see the property or meet the coordinators face to face. As soon as we arrived everything was more beautiful than I expected and the staff took such good care of us! My only complaint about the entire weekend were the biting gnats. They were pretty nasty. I don't know if the club treats the area but that would be my recommendation A few hours before any event have the area "bombed" to try and prevent people from being eaten alive :). But in all seriousness I would do it again in a heartbeat, it was one of the best weekends of my life and we will be going back for years to come.

I have come here for 4 years now for a tennis tournament and have always been extremely happy with the service, room quality, and staff! The scenery is second to none and you can't look anywhere without seeing a beautiful sight! My favorite part is the cafe as they have an excellent menu and an even better staff. Love the smoothies and pastries.

Beautiful historic hotel and grounds. The staff could not be more accommodating. Perfect for a relaxed family getaway. Children love it. Also a beautiful place for a wedding or family reunion. I have been going there for 20 years.

This place is gorgeous, relaxing, and the staff is phenomenal! Every one was really professional and helpful. We stayed in the Sans Sousi in a king suite. It was beautiful. The room had a real wood burning fireplace, hardwood floors, and a balcony. There was also a walk-in closet. It was extremely spacious. We ate at the Pub and the food was good. However, there weren't many options and the prices pretty pricey. Three drinks (Heineken and two soft drinks) costs $12. But hey, I guess that's to be expected. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was very good and we enjoyed the beautiful views of the grounds and my son loved the heated outdoor pool. The hotel is about a mile from the beach and the hotel offers a shuttle. I can't wait to go back and hopefully stay a little longer!

The place is awesome. We came for the Jekyll Island Big Band Weekend and the band's where really good. The food was amazing! Enjoyed the dance lessons only wish there where some for more advanced dancers. Wish we also got here earlier to spend more time exploring, the hotel grounds are awesome and there is a lot to see.
