I tent camped. Good access to bike trails. Quiet site. Most sites are for R.V.'s but even they are quiet.

Summer is nice but in the winter it is a glorified trailer park. Rv come in and stay 3 to 6 months

Driftwood Beach is must see and marvellous. I was lucky to be there with nice weather and tide. One can spend the day around the Bird Sanctuary.

Love this campground. We try to vist every year with Georgia Kayak Fishing. The staff is great, clean bath houses the only thing is bring your bug spray.

This Place is Awesome. The sunrise is the most exciting this time of year if you are a photographer. I highly recommend Driftwood Beach. It is the only part of the beach that is unique in it's on way. I have never seen anything like it. Although it is an Island, there is a 24hr grocery store and most of the motels there have kitchens. You have to bring your own utensils. 5 stars.

Campgroud for the last 30 days. It's not a resort if that is what you are looking for. It's mainly for young families or older campers. No 20 somethings as there isn't any bars or clubs. Great for kids. Like growing up in the 50s or 60s. Check it out

Really calming. Staff are extremely nice. The bird sanctuary is very cute and beautiful. Definitely coming again!

State park beaches are nice and clean. Camp ground was ok , roads in camp ground in need of regreading. Employees were nice and very helpful. Also are fire ring set to high. But everything in general was very nice and fire works were very good. Would consider coming back again. Thank you

Office staff won't answer phone and will not return calls. Have tried several times in the past couple months to get a site to no avail. They always say they have no sites, but then we drive down for the day and go thru campground and there are plenty of sites!!! Definitely needs campsites updated. Jekyll Island is great, but not so much the campground!

Was amazed at the hospitality we received from the staff! Perfect anniversary trip. We opted for the primitive tent site not knowing if it would be big enough, but we were able to fit our car, kayak, and 6-person tent around our campfire and still had plenty of room. Once we arrived, we had issues setting up our tent, but it didn't take long before some staffers and fellow campers were quick to the rescue. Even after hours when the gift shop is closed, there is still a staff member that rides around (on a golf cart) at night to make sure everyone is taken care of. From fire wood to electrical issues, they want to make sure that your stay is comfortable. Mr. Richard, thewho stays and works on site from Oct.- Mar. was extremely helpful and made our stay that much better. We will DEFINITELY be returning.
